Exactly what she said. And Lucy directly asked how Rory and Logan met each other. Logan was brought directly into the mess with that question, because he had to choose between lying and telling the truth. His actions would have been more questionable if he just randomly brought it up to Lucy for no reason,
(which Rory completely exaggerated when talking to her mother) but he didn't. Logan clearly hesitated in responding, recognizing the tough situation he was in. Choosing not to lie in that situation was the right thing to do.

It was obvious that Logan truly did like Lucy, and that he believed she was a nice girl. He had already expressed concern about the lie in general in the first scene. He wouldn't have blurted anything out just to hurt Lucy or to be a jerk to Marty. However, you can't force him to add to the long chain of lies - that could only cause more trouble in the end, with Lucy finding out that everyone was lying to her.

Seriously, you don't shoot the messenger.

lol, ok, maybe I do need to rewatch. I still don't like the way Logan handled it, with no diplomacy at all.

Logan didn't say Rory introduced them. He said that Logan & Rory met when Marty introduced LOGAN & RORY
