It sounds as if moving was Chris's idea? If her face tells him she doesn't want to move, it seems like she's just going along with him.

Teaser:
Chris and Lorelai are in a kitchen. They pretend like they’re a “Leave it to Beaver” couple. They’re actually in a house they’re thinking of buying. Lorelai asks the real estate agent how they look in the light. Lorelai tells Chris that she cannot imagine a better house. When they walk outside Lorelai makes a “face” and Chris asks her what’s wrong. She doesn’t want to tell him but he asks her again. Then he asks her if she wants to stay in Stars Hollow and she says yes. So, he says ok. As they walk off they comment that it’s one hell of a mailbox, though.

02:
Lorelai gets to Emily’s house on a Sunday morning. Emily comments that she’s 37 minutes late. Lorelai makes up some excuse about traffic cones. Emily has wonderful news. Lorelai guesses that she cancelled her wedding party. Emily replies that she hired a wonderful planner (Randall Farber). Lorelai gets introduced to Randall who Emily calls a genius.

Kirk is in Luke’s Diner trying to sell wrapping paper to Patty. Liz comes in with her baby. Luke comes over to have a look, too. As Liz is talking to Luke, Kirk tries to sell Liz some wrapping paper. Liz and Luke talk about Anna and his fight with her. Luke made a list for the holidays and weeks he gets to see April. Liz suggests that he needs a lawyer. Luke doesn’t want one. He wants to figure things out with Anna. Liz tells Luke that she’s leaving Doula with him because she needs time to herself. Luke looks a bit stunned.

Lorelai is being showed the different themed tables. Lorelai is still trying to get away from this all. Rory calls Lorelai on her cell and Lorelai tries to pretend as if there’s a huge dilemma. Emily says that she can hear Rory on the other end. Lorelai complains that Rory doesn’t have her back. Rory says that she plans to enjoy herself at the party. Rory cancels on dinner that night with Lorelai and Chris because Logan is staying with her for a few days.

03:
Lorelai and Chris are shopping and Lorelai is complaining about her afternoon with Emily and her planning with Randall. Chris offers to meet Lorelai for the taste testing the next day and Lorelai is overly grateful. Bonnie, Taylor’s niece is working the register really slowly and Lorelai’s complaining so Chris suggests for her to wait outside if she wants. Lorelai bumps into Luke and Doula outside. Lorelai sounds stunned at her name and then asks to hold the baby. Doula is 11 days old. While Lorelai is talking to Doula, Chris walks outside with the groceries and Lorelai introduces her to Chris. Lorelai puts Doula back and walks off with Chris.

04:
Rory and Logan are standing in line to enter the cafeteria and she’s telling Logan that he’s on HER turf. Rory tries to get Logan in with a “family pass” trying to pretend that Logan is her brother when one of Logan’s friends walks by and says hi and then asks if that’s his girlfriend. Logan asks her if she is. As they walk in, they bump into Lucy. Lucy congratulates Logan on buying the internet or something. Since Lucy is going off to class they decide to meet up the following day for dinner. Marty comes in and Lucy introduces him to Logan and Logan says that he definitely knows Marty. Marty interjects saying that he knows him from bartending. Lucy mentions that Rory must know Marty too, just not remember him. Marty quickly pulls Lucy off. Logan asks Rory about it and she explains that it’s a very juvenile thing and that she was caught off guard. She explains that Marty may still like her. Logan asks what made her think that way and she says that Marty told her she was beautiful. Logan says that he doesn’t blame Marty because she is beautiful. Logan asks her if they hang out and Rory says that they do. Logan asks why Rory didn’t tell him and he said that there was nothing to tell. He then tells her that she needs to tell Lucy and soon. Rory agrees.

Lorelai and Chris are in bed and Chris tells Lorelai that he wants to make a baby. Lorelai thinks that he’s joking but he’s serious. Lorelai says that they haven’t talked about it so they’re talking about it right now. Lorelai seems taken off guard. She says that she’s sort of thought about it but it’s not something she wants to do right now because they just got married and GG isn’t even back from Paris. Lorelai doesn’t know what the rush is and asks him. Chris just says that she’s right and then he goes back to bed.

05:
Luke mentions to Cesear that he has to run as soon as April arrives to make it to the movie. Kirk is telling Luke that he’s beating the kids in the wrapping paper drive. The kids come into the diner looking for Kirk to “take it outside.”

Luke calls Anna looking for April and she says that April is not coming. She doesn’t want Luke to come to her house and threaten her and then just accept that it’s ok for April to come by. She doesn’t want April to be with Luke. She hangs up on him.

Lorelai and Chris are with Randall at the reception hall. Emily is in the background. Lorelai is being snarky to Randall. Chris seems upset about something but doesn’t tell Lorelai what. Emily wants Chris and Lorelai to repeat their vows. Lorelai wants just the party. Emily says that her and Richard wants to witness their only daughter get married. Chris doesn’t think that it’s such a bad idea. Lorelai decides that it’s not something she wants to do. Chris says that it’s pointless for him to be there since Lorelai will make all the decisions about the house, the reception, kids. Emily pipes up asking if they’re talking about having kids and Lorelai says no. Chris tells Lorelai that she planned it all with Luke “the Diner guy” and then says why should he be respectful to the guy that punched him. Then he says that he’s going back to work and leaves.

06:
Luke is taking to a lawyer who asks him if he’s suing for custody. Instead Luke says that he wants partial custody. The lawyer tells Luke that this isn’t a best case scenario because Luke wasn’t in April’s life even if he didn’t know about her. Either way, Luke will have to sue for custody. He asks Luke about Anna’s history and then his. Luke admits that he beat up a guy’s car once. He asks Luke if he attended anger management classes and Luke says that he doesn’t have to. The lawyer said that it will get ugly and he will probably lose but they have to act quick.

Rory, Logan, Lucy and Marty are at a restaurant. Lucy is chatting about an audition. Marty asks Rory to pass a dish and while he’s doing it Logan is staring at Marty who’s not making eye contact. They talk about background stories. Rory and Marty look uncomfortable. They talk about how many jobs Marty works and Marty comments that he’s waiting for his trust fund to kick in and Logan looks up at him. Rory drops her napkin and Marty picks it up. Logan asks how Lucy and Marty met. Lucy says that Marty stalked her. Then she asks how Logan and Rory met. Both hesitate and then Logan says that Marty introduced them. He apologizes that he cannot play along and says that Marty and Rory have known each other since freshman year where they would watch Duck Soup together. Lucy gets upset and even more angry once Rory confirms that this is true. She stats yelling and runs off. Marty runs after her. Rory is upset at Logan and he explains that he was asked a direct question and he answered. Rory says that he humiliated Lucy. Logan says that it was Rory and Marty that humiliated Lucy. Rory calls logan obnoxious. He says that he’s going back to the city tonight with the excuse that he as a lot of work to do. They finish dinner in silence.

Lorelai answers her cell while she’s doing inventory at night at the Inn. Rory tells Lorelai about what happened, telling her that boys suck. She tells her that Lucy is not answering her phone. Lorelai tells her to just give Lucy time. Rory says that she’s going over to see if Lucy will talk to her in person.

Chris is in a bar. He leaves and as he’s walking through Stars Hollow to get into his car he sees Luke arrive at the diner. He walks over to him and Luke walks toward Chris. They start fighting and rolling on the ground. They crash into the tree, which falls over. They get up and both look at each other and then walk away.

Rory knocks at Lucy’s dorm room door. Olivia answers it and is rude to Rory. Neither of them want to see her. She shuts the door on Rory. Rory walks away crying.

Lorelai walks up to her house and Emily is waiting for her on her front porch. Emily wants to talk and offer Lorelai friendly advice. She says that Chris is immature and often lacking in common sense. Lorelai turns it into asking Emily if she’s saying that Chris made a bad decision in choosing Lorelai. Emily replies that marriage is about compromise and making things work. It’s about swallowing pride and not always winning an argument. Marriage is serious business and that a ring is no guarantee that marriages will work. Then she walks off.

Logan lasted about half a dinner more than I would have. I don't put up with crap like that too well. I would never pretend to prolong a lie that I wanted no part of.

Although, I did feel kinda bad for Rory when she started crying when leaving Lucy and Olivia's dorm.

Sorry, but that girl needs to learn to have a backbone and stand up for herself. How she allowed herself to be pulled into this mess is ridiculous. It's like she couldn't stand up to Marty. How does she expect to be Christiane Amanpour - or ANY successful journalist - if she continues with this childish behaviour.

While I see her point, she should have NEVER let to get to the point where she'd have to get more people (Logan) involved in the lie.

that fight was ridiculous and so very random. I thought for a second that they were gonna shake hands...thank god they didn't otherwise that whole scene would have been so lame

well that sounds like a horrid ep - not surprised dopey wants kids so he can tie her down - emily's advice maybe it played better while watching it but it sounded week = and luke well its sad and pathetic and the fight sounds dumb as well

- So the fight was not that big after all. Good going who ever picked Chris would be at a bar and Luke back from the lawyer.
- Liz had the lawyer idea, now only if she had hit Luke when she found out he had not told Lorelai about April a year before!
- Sad about Luke and April and Anna cutting him off.
- Did we really need C&L in bed! but at least we know where Lorelai stands, she was willing with Luke but not now!
- You go Emily one huge anvil in the last scene "ring is no guarantee that marriages will work" I love it!
- Lorelai wanting the house but now? What was the point, to have a scene like L&L with the TH talk in FF?
- Rory's getting into trouble too, is she learning to hide things like her mother?

I might love this ep, even with the C&L image in bed.

The fight was stupid. Made both of them look absolute ridiculous. The lawyer bit was funny when he asked Luke if he had taken anger management classes. I guess it was just so unexpected.
