No, don't let Richard die. That's the worst thing they can do. But I guess they won't do this. I would say they just try to make the storyline more logical. I mean Chris leaving his wife alone when her father is seriously sick isn't the greatest storyline. I would love to see Lorelai that Lorelai decides for a man because she finally figured out who she loves and not because the other guy just messed up again. So maybe this change isn't so bad at all.

Jim just posted on FanBolt (and found else where) that Ep 2-3 will air Dec 12-19, so no new eps after 10 until Jan at the earliest.

I say at this point the tweaking means anything is possible...perhaps the farming analogy was an anvil dosed ASP style...

Perhaps MA never had official validation about his 'spoiler' for 7.13 and is now having to backtrack. Who knows?...

I am thinking that TPTB are planning ahead, in that they don't want this to be the last season, thus they want to keep AB happy. As for the quantity isn't necessary for quality, I would think that AB doesn't care and I guess the writers don't care. She is probably so "over" this show that it doesn't matter to her what her character does or doesn't do. The actors get paid the same regardless if they are in only one or in every scene in an episode.

Well the Podcast said they would be surprised if VM gets S4 so I wonder if this will play a part in GG getting S8 and vis versa, if GG doesn't would spell the end of VM?

At this point I think they want both shows to do better and need something for next season, GG is still in the top 3 shows on the CW so it will probably come down to contracts with LHG and KAB

No man in Lorelai's life has ever had this much screentime - in each and every episode - even when she was with Luke and engaged to him, there were Luke light episodes while she was depicted as actually having a full life. I want that full life living person back - and soon.

Awww I don't want them to tweak that story! I was looking forward to seeing Luke helping Emily and Chris being a moron. I hope this "tweaking" has nothing to do with DS signing on for even MORE episodes or something. For the love of God, please put the CL relationship out of its misery. I hope 7.13 is still the turning point. Lorelai needs to have her freakin epiphany already dammit!

Thanks for transcribing the podcast Lorelaisgirl. I don't know what I think of MA's comment about stuff being tweaked. I'm tempted to be very negative about that, but I don't like to be negative. Ya'll have been flying through the threads. Is the snow keeping everyone inside?

Perhaps they are placating her to try to get an 8th season. I'm aware she gets paid no matter how many scenes she's in. My point is the writers should care enough to give Rory a storyline no matter if KAB cares or doesn't care. For the health of the show.

Hmmm... now you got me thinking. Does anyone have that spoiler that was quickly dismissed as a foiler? I'm guessing it was never put into the first post so I'm not even going to bother to look.

I'd be interested in re-reading it if anyone has it.
