No, it is at the dinner table at FND, then it is Rory moving into the apt, then L/C. I don't have to wait for the transcript, I just had to watch it.
ETA: I'm definitely for more Rory scenes, I just think people should have their facts right.

Oy with the scene/time count already!

Yes DSR has not done a good job at balancing the characters but sometimes Amy was not so good, I mean Sookie was number 3 but hasn't had much of a SL the last couple of season and nothing has come of her new produce guy. Lane popped up to tell Mrs Kim and is gone again, maybe to be scene in ep 11 when she is mad at customers (nice mix with Luke probably being mad also with the court stuff LOL) Lane may not be seen until she pops the little sucker out. Michel has he EVERY had a SL? Kirk has been under used for much of the season, as has Paris and these are all characters in the main credits.

With any luck now Logan is in town that will be addressed and we'll all get the balance we want for Rory but with the Luke SL heating up and possibly getting more screen time with Lorelai it's anyones guess.

Will the removal of Chris come ep 13 free up some screen time for the other characters?.

Because Gwen remains better than all of the imitators!

Thanks Babs. Thanks for the clarification Nikki. Let's hope people can follow your stipulations this time.

Victorialeigh, on what planet does this rationale of yours come from? Chris and Jess have more in common ON A CORE LEVEL, then Chris and Logan ever will. Similar backgrounds do not always produce similar people. Nice of you to bring the whole nature/nuture debate to the thread. Nevertheless, that spec of yours, makes absolutely no sense what so ever.

Outside of the last thread and this thread being the longest WAAAAAAAAAHHHHFEST in the history of this threads. It appears to be rather obvious why LC and Luke are being dealt with now. Here are the facts.

1) SHO-RUNNA has stated that he has a YEAR-LONG plan.

2) Ed and Kelly have only so many episodes that they appear in each year (Remember: they both live on the East Coast.). When the guy that runs the show has a PLAN as to where everything is going. It's rather evident that Stache and Pearls will have more to do in the second-half than the first-half.

3) Matt has stated that he's scheduled to appear in 15 episodes. He could appear in more or less. Depending on the way that they view his appearances. However, he's only in 15 (or maybe 16 with KPK) episodes. Which means that the second-half will have more Logan in it.

While we are here. If it took all of maybe 10 lines of dialogue and Matt to turn Logan into a convincing business man. Why would you think that Rory's future would need any longer than that? I thought we were the group of fans that actually cared about her love life? She's Rory. He's Logan. They will have to wear shades for a reason.

4) Possibly being the only person in here happy with every character on this show. I have no problem with Luke having his own storyline. I do have problems with people insulting VM. Your response to Lorelai in court for Luke. Would have nothing on what I would throw down on you Sandlynn or anyone else that disses VM. Play nice. Or the Big Dawg might BITE. WOOF! WOOF!

My anger at people bashing a young girl aside, Luke has to have this story. The story dictates as much as soon as you introduce his kid. Again, for you JJs out there, this will get you the Luke that you have been searching for. While Lorelai's journey will do the same. Of course, if you are a needy whiner, that only watches the so for one or two characters. Well, that's you, and it goes SHOW, RORY, VOLTRON, ULTIMATE SUPERMAN COLLECTION, and everyone else.

5) This all leaves us with a second-half that should be different in tone than the first-half. Until it's warmer outside, could you please stop freaking out about screentime? Since many of you ignores items 1-4. You also ignores that Rory has a storyline. It's not my fault that you are too pessi****ingmestic to enjoy it. That's on you. Not on SHO-RUNNA.

Finally, you audacious ****ing raspcalian. You really think that you are in the majority here? That you represent the entire audience? What the **** ever. That article Hawk posted. Pretty much states that the network does not find any of what we post...as SPIN. IF you cannot accept that a Grey Haired, poor dancing, and soul singing son of a gun had an effect on the ratings earlier this year. If you cannot accept that the 10th greatest running back of all-time. WHo only has his record because Barry retired. Due in large part because he did not want to dishonour the legend who had that record. Since Sweetness had died that same year. Back to Emmitt, if you want to ignore Emmitt in tap shoes ****ed the ratings up in the first-half. Well, have fun with that busted ass sit-n-spin, that you and your entire group of HATERS are currently on. I happen to own a pogo ball, and it totally ****ING RAWKS! POGO TIME, ES!

I don’t know what to think about the „tweaking”.
What does it mean exactly?

The Emily/Richard SL will be dropped completely (not that they actually had one so far!) so that L/C can have even more screen time? I hope not! But well it’s not that this hasn’t happened before. Richard and the grooving off thing at Yale and Emily and one scene at the cotillion were cut off too.

This was one thing I was really looking forward too, E/R finally getting more screen time, a SL of their own, the family getting closer together and the icing on the cake would have been Luke helping Emily while Chris sulks over a fight with Lorelai.
But now, I’m lost! I feel like nothing is sure anymore, not that anything ever was…

I'm pretty sure that's just spec. Although even if she did want less screen time it doesn't mean that the quality if the SL has to be bad.

Every TV actour complains about the time. It's their thing. This is one of the reasons why people get killed off of LOST...THEY WANT TO GO HOME! Except for Ian. He and Maggie enjoyed the island. Nevertheless, when you are working with a guy that you like, an imply that you like working with him more than other folks. Well, I am leaning back in my chair now, and putting my feet on a desk. It's a figurative desk, but I am putting my legs out anyway in order to sell the point...home.

Yeah, yeah, I know you're talking about me, though it's totally more than 2 characters since Richard remains my fave, but it still cracked me the hell up! Heee!

And then I somehow missed what you're talking about here:

But truer words. Truer words. If you can't see what different paths they're adult lives are on, you're not bothering to watch when Logan happens to be around.

It's not one person. It's more an attitude that I am responding too. Not a person. It's more like personifying a point more than anything else. And in case you thought I was serious Nikki. The last part with the pogo ball was meant as my silly way to end the paragraph.

Laura, the WAAAAAAAAHHHHHHfest was about you , but it's another situation where I get the frustration. Yet, I do not get being frustrated. When SHO-RUNNAs own words and actions as of late. Point to the second-half featuring Rory, Logan, Stache, and Pearls into a more of the story.

Hmm. Okay.

You could tone it down a bit, though.

I agree. That's why I try to make the end of the paragraphes such as those a bit more whimsical. Yet, that one, needed about 23 more Ewoks to be whimsical. Which means it comes across much more blunt than it should.

Podcast December 1

MA: But I know a couple of weeks ago in Ask Ausiello, I had said that a big source of the conflict was gonna come up when Richard gets sick. And uh, Luke is gonna be the one who steps up and helps Emily out, while Christopher just kinda sulks off to the side because he had a fight with Lorelai. Those plans, however, have since changed.
DM: How come?
MA: I don’t know. I just know that they’re tweaking that whole story. I don’t really know what’s happening now, so uhh---

Just posting this to get a link ...
