Does this mean Luke will be left home, back in Stars Hollow, whenever Lorelai attends a Rory event with the grandparents and biological father.

Does it mean he'll still leave Lorelai behind when he's with April? Is this their future? What a mind-boggling sad place to end a show “about a single parent and her daughter”. No wonder it's not even a dramedy any more.

I don't understand this. They have children by different partners. It's always going to be different. My poor sister has in essence 6 parents. For her high school graduation, she had to pick and choose who could go based on the tickets she got. It was hard, but we understood. My dad got 4 weeks a year with my sister. It was just understood that it was his time with her and my mom had to be okay with that. I'm not going to begrudge Christopher time he wants to spend with his daughter or Luke with his daughter for that matter. It's all part being in a disjointed and dysfunctional family. Luke and Lorelai are always going to have to deal with the parents of their children, but at this point in their relationship, it seems like it might be too soon for that. I guess I'm okay with Luke not being at the graduation for that reason.

Exactly. Luke and Christopher are never going to be buddies, but they will eventually have to deal with their presence. I just don't think it's time yet for that.

As much as the last minute LL reunion we'll be getting in the finale sounds just great (

I'm not against Chris being there at graduation, he should have been at Chilton. But they better have a good reason for NO Luke or Sookie. If it comes don to tickets then that suck, when did DSR care about reality with the crap that went on in France!

But looking at the other spoilers about the town having meetings at Luke's it probably is a ticket thing.

What if Rory invites Luke first then has to give up his ticket for Chris?

I know 7.21 is and should be about Rory for the most part - but, I really do hope that we will get at least some scene between L/L that shows some progress - maybe like someone suggested - she comes to the diner after the day is over and tells him about the graduation and they finally get close - otherwise - it does seem like they will have s little bit of somethin somethin in 7.22 and with all the other stuff that is in 7.22, it won't be much - well, not nearly what I would like to see. Sigh.

They didn't say they would not be in last weeks podcast, infact they said se you next week.

I'm going to be out today so I'll have to catch up on it later, I think with the new job I'm learning to let go of Gilmore more.

I'm with you 100%. Spoilers and descriptions are one thing, the way it plays out is another. How can we make judgments on where Luke and Lorelai will be at the end of the season if we really don't know the FULL culmination of talks/events/moments that lead up to it? Keep the faith, guys. There's no reason to freak out. We are in such a better place than the poor Sophies who have to go into the rest of the season watching the demise of RL. We get to do the opposite.

Oh, MA. I guess we should have expected that. They should seriously put his picture next to the word "tool" in the dictionary.
