Soon it will be too late to change anything because filming will be over for the season by early next week, correct? Today would have been the end had there not been script changes, as I recall.

ETA How much time off do the actors get in the summer? Some shows actually begin filming episodes for the fall right away. When does filming resume usually?

I'm not giving up hope on Luke being there, Rory tells Lorelai about Chris coming and I bet she invites Luke, maybe if he is not there he has a good reason, setting up the town party? I just hate that so close to the end Dopey steps in again and it looks like Luke is pushed to the side. We already know what happens with Logan so if this all turns out I'm not liking the reviews that might come.

Hee! I'm still plenty happy. I might not be happy about this Luke business but whatever. We'll get our couple together and that all that matters! I am just not a fan of having to watch L/C talking again. Yes I know he is Rory's dad an' all but I just don't need to see or hear him. lol

Plus.. I am still hoping for the Luke proposal in 722!

7.21 Lorelai comes back from the graduation, it was weird and awkward with Christopher and just proved to her how wrong it was and how much she does love Luke. They talk, Luke proposes relationship/marriage whatever. I see this being a cliffhanger for that.
7.22 They are finally in a full-fledged relationship and celebrate Rory's graduation and their finally getting back together.

This sucks DSR! I know you said way back at the launch that they would not be back right away but the last ep, I thought you might be a touch more original but I guess with the whole fraked up wedding and other crap you have been force feeding us all year it's no big shock now!

I'm okay with getting a last ep reunion so long as we are getting stuff all along. We aren't going to get a JAG ending where Harm and Mac hardly interact and then suddenly they are engaged. I think there will be a much better lead up.

I really wanted him to be at the graduation in part for Chris to see him and know that what Lorelai wrote in the character reference was true - Luke has always been there for Rory and that once Luke is in your life, he's always there - this would have been the perfect recognition of that as truth - so, for me, they blew it royally by having him not be there.

Yeah absolutely. We are getting some good L/L stuff from now on and we know they will be together. Plus.. we are getting some classic Hollow and Townie stuff as well. That is pretty much all I need to know. Well, I would like to know when we get the first kiss but thats just me being greedy!

No.

Sookie isn't Rory's past or future stepfather-to-be. We're not being asked to believe that Lorelai and Sookie "end in a good place", despite all evidence to the contrary. We're not being asked to swallow a future family headed by them, like with Luke and Lorelai - DESPITE everything DR's showed us. I swear, listening to the show, I feel that Luke and Lorelai are less not more "ready to be together" now.

That's sad/disappointing. I was hoping any future scenes containing Dopey would also contain Luke.

And I like your timeline spec, Melodie.

I love LL and I can't wait to see them together again, but I just hope that we see them being the amazing friends they were to begin with along with a soon to be married couple. I need LL to be like old LL, and then it will be perfect.

I love townie stuff! That DC made me so happy because of that.

And yeah, when are they gonna kiss again? This is one time where I get tempted to start begging for spoilers, but I'll control myself, lol.
