That was my thought also. However, her info that LG did request script changes for ep. 22(?) was correct, although apparently exaggerated. I guess we shall see in a few weeks.

We'll see eventually. I know we shouldn't judge a person's spoiler credibility based on their ship, and I figured that, in the past, she had info that may have been true (but I wasn't sure). The credibility is still questionable...perhaps the truth is stretched.

I don't know to what extent. Is he there, or isn't he there? Make up your mind people!

I believe that Mozarella does have a spoiler source, but he/she rephrases the spoilers in a way to suggest more than what really happens and puts anything LL related in as bad a light as possible.

I'm pretty sure she dislikes Luke, pretty intensely if I remember correctly, so her spoilers, while they may be true, will be slanted to put him in the worst possible light. She may have spoilers that are pro-L/L, but I'd bet my last dollar she's not going to share them with us, lol.

So as Sara said, it doesn't necessarily mean bad things for L/L. I do think it means that if they are together, it's at the beginning of the relationship, and things are still tentative. And from the feeling I get from ep. 22, that's the ep where things will become more committed. I'm guessing TPTB changed their minds about Luke being at the graduation, thinking that perhaps L/L's relationship was too shaky at that point, especially with Dopey being there. I'm surprised though, it could have had so much DRAMA!

Now I'm putting on my negative cap again. What's odd about this season, is that there has been many changes, and all of them were anti-L/L. Am I being paranoid?

yeah, isn't the person a BB, who told us also that LG didn't want to have a scen with SP and that's why they changed the script for 7.22, and it was as far from the truth as it could ever be?

Forget the stupid tickets! It's TV, Rory can have as many tickets as she wants. If Chris and Lorelai can magically elope in Paris, Rory can get an extra ticket to her graduation, lol.

But I won't skip the ep, because as much as Christopher and Chris and Lorelai annoy me and I really don't need to waste MORE time on them, they aren't together anymore and I watched all those, and I do want to see Rory graduate!

It's just lame, given the character reference's point and all. And plus, I've had it in my head forever that Luke would be there and that's one of the things I was looking forward to finally getting when we got through all the crap of the first two thirds of this season.

I had hoped that Rory was going to invite Luke to the graduation when they have their bar/kareoke evening - maybe he is invited but can't go because of something to do with April? I'd live with that - but, other than that - will be disappointed. Seems like there's not much L/L stuff in 7.21 correct? Or am I forgetting something significant??

I've always felt that he was at Rory's Chilton graduation because Lorelai asked him. Rory always has shown more love for her father, and seems to accept Luke as some kind of fixture, nice but not overly important. Lorelai has always been the one that has been impressed with Luke's feelings for Rory.

If L/L are making moves to becoming close again, I can't see why Lorelai wouldn't invite him. Unless Chris being there is causing some problems, or making Lorelai feel awkward. That's the Chris we know and love, screwing up things for everyone yet once again.

SPA, when you mentioned that some people were getting a sick satisfaction out of the fans' reaction, did you mean posters, or TPTB at GG?

How in the frakin world is LUKE not at Rorys graduatuon!! No matter what has happened between LL he was always there for Rory. Lorelai even said so herself in the letter she wrote for Luke! This freakin ridiculous !!!

No, we don't. Quippy does not automatically equal flirty. And just to point this out, I highly doubt that Lorelai or Rory don't want Luke at the graduation. Luke probably decides not to go because he knows it'll be awkward with Chris and E/R there.

OT-Any of you GG lovers who live in the UK are lucky....the iTunes Store there is sooo much better than the one here in the US.

Perhaps they are going for a more "realistic" approach with the storyline changes. If they believe there will be a season 8, they can make the L&L reunion evolve in a more realistic fashion. I'm trying to stay positive. Honestly, to slap them together would be the easy way of this huge mess DR created but it would be silly. Where they left off in 7.17, there is no glimmer of any feelings at all between the two of them so to have them married in 7.22 would be a stretch the way things are going right now. I think we're getting a season 8, despite what Sparky the TG says.

ETA- I think Lorelai and Rory want Luke to be at the graduation, but sometimes what you want and what is wise or prudent might not be the same thing.
