I totally agree with you, bec99. I think the writers made a conscious decision to reduce the romance in the second half of the season. Unfortunately, they don't seem to understand that L/L is about way more than romance. Their interaction (friendship, fighting, kissing, dating, teasing, coffee-pouring, etc.) was one of the show's staples and removing it leaves a huge gaping hole in each episode.

I also agree that DSR purposely released positive L/L spoilers throughout the season in order to keep JJ's hanging on: Lorelai meeting Luke at the hospital in 7.08, the baby scene in 7.10, Luke helping her family out in 7.13. None of these events came close to meeting my expectations. They were not true L/L scenes IMO. They were just bones thrown to the JJ crowd to make sure they'd keep tuning in.

Anyway, I'm so glad this L/L embargo finally appears to be over. I'm sick of worrying about a season 8. I'm just going to assume this is the last season, and if it's not, then I will be pleasantly surprised.

I agree...that was a pretty good video...but I think a huge part is the song! It is one of my current favorites because there is someone that sings it to me...and it is amazingly similar to me...and I guess to Lorelai!

Anyway, I am not sure how to link exactly...but this on is even better. The clips are right on with the song lyrics...it is awesome...I watch it over and over!

Taylor: You don't have to worry about that Gypsy because you don't need to squeeze lemons because you don't need lemonade because there isn't going to be a lemonade booth this year.

Gypsy: What?!
Taylor: The budget for the lemonade booth has been reallocated to the hay bale maze.
Babette: What about Mory's salty nuts?! How is he suppose to have his salty nuts booth if we don't have a lemonade booth? If people start eating salty nuts and they don't have easy access to lemonade their mouths will fall off.
Taylor: Well, you don't have to worry about that Babette because there is not going to be a salty nuts booth because the budget for the salty nuts booth has been reallocated to the hay bale maze.

A costumed Kirk: I am the Minitor!
Lorelai: The weird thing is he's been in that head under that velvet cloth this whole time.
Kirk: Although the word labyrinth is used interchangeably with maze, maze scholars insist on a distinction
Babette: Ey Kirk? What's with the cow's head?
Laughter.
People begin standing up to leave as Kirk continues talking and Taylor gives "come on people" looks.
Kirk: A labyrinth is a universal maze, a maze without branches, without choices. A maze on the other hand can be very confusing. There are choices to be made, blind allies down which to proceed. Now the first maze in recorded history...

Did it fast, so if there are any mistakes please point them out and I will be happy to fix them
