The TG's would probably say it because they don't know themselves. This is between the actors and studios negiotiating to get the show back for another year. There has been so many conflicting responses, it can make your head spin on a daily basis. The CW will make the announcement, not the tour guides! In my opinion, the CW is working every angle to try to get Alexis and Lauren to sign before the upfronts on May 17th. This is why there hasn't been a confirmation, nothing, just silly rumors.

Oh, another thing, what is this new understanding about Luke and Lorelai? I hope they get back together, not just friends. What the hell?!

Me too. It also reminded me of the end of S2 - grocery store/Mr. Freeze scenes. When she answered Sookie she seemed a little frustrated by his stand-offishness. I can really see why she's the first to apologize now.

Perhaps they decide that weddings suck and they can just live together? Goldie has had much better luck with that method, I believe. That is why it is a "new" understanding. I don't think it means them just being friends, no matter what. Mostly because they will already be trying the "friends only" thing for the next few weeks.

Hmm not TOO sure how I feel about the DC. Hilarious, of course -- and I'm loving me some Kirk in a ridic costume! And I adore LG's expressions, amazing as always - but I'm so curious about what they talked about or how this is all going to play out. How are they going to get from HERE to *THERE*?

Yeah, that's what I thought too (mini-squee- you have no idea how glad I am that Lorelai is fixing things and finally being herself again)... and I love the look Sookie gives her

It's perfect. I'm so excited about this episode, you wouldn't believe it.

"New understanding" - this is my take on it and watch out, it's ... positive.
Maybe it's kind of a new "no more lies" understanding. They vow to always communicate and talk about their issues instead of clamming up, hiding or running off. This of course, after they've already shared a bed again....

and do they not reconcile until the end of the season? I'll cry!

But why should she be so frustrated? she's the one that chose not to step in the diner. She's the one that was thinking of cutting him for good a few short months ago. Outside of his explosion in 702, Luke has been nothing but nice to her.

I dont mind if they dont reconcile by 7.22 if it means we are getting a S8. If not LL should/must be reconlciled by the end of 7.20 so we can have at leat 2 eps of Ll kisses/makups/makeouts!!
