Wait...if they go on a boat trip, they don't shower?

Shouldn't there be a shower somewhere in the boat? I thought it was a big boat..

And question about the supposed boat trip: How many bedrooms does that tiny little boat have anyway? Where will April and Luke sleep at night? How will they sleep? Won't they go adrift if someone's not steering the boat? Is there only one bed in the thing...are they sharing the same bed? How do they get food...do they stock up early...how do they cook? There's no BBQ!

Many questions for someone who's never had a boating trip last longer than 2 hours...and we were stuck in the middle of the lake for two hours because the motor shut off on us and we spent an hour trying to move SOMEWHERE with the paddles (though the waves pushed us right back) until someone towed us to the nearest dock.

well i am sort of resigned to the fact that lorelai will always be sort of self-centered. obladiobladah what can you do...she is a gilmore girl and this show is called the gilmore girls

That too. She did sound a tad rude, but at least it was in character. Unlike most things for the past aeason and a half.

Sarcasm means she doesn't believe when Luke says April is excited and thinks that the boat trip idea is really bad.

Knowing Lorelai, it didn't surprise me. She doesn't seem like a boat person to me and probably feels April isn't either. As wrong as it is, this is what Lorelai does. She gives advice even when nobody wants it. LOL

it doesn't surprise me and at this point i don't care. I just hope they are not gonna create some artificial issue between april and lorelai next year to add to the drama

Poor Rory, things are just not going her way.

As for Lorelai offering advice, that's what she does. She meddles, whether she means to or not, though it is usually well intentioned.

Speaking of karaoke. . . AM TOTALLY DOING THAT TOMORROW NIGHT!! Of course, I'll also be doing it in a toga, but, Whatever.

I don't know a lot of teenage girls who would be thrilled to stay only on the boat for weeks. And booking the rooms makes it feel more like an "event". If her tone is what is bothering you guys, it is probably good that you can't hear me, most of the time. My friends and I joke like that with each other all the time.

have fun. hey i love your fanfic by the way. Lorelai is a meddler and ironically hates it when people do the same to her. KARMA Baby!

ETA: I am not all that bothered by it. If anything I think its good. I just have a deepseeded fear that if we get season 8 that they will create a conflict between the Ls parenting styles to drive a wedge between them aka create drama

I took it as her being genuinely concerned safety wise that they were going to be out in the middle of the ocean all alone, hence all the sinking boat movies.
