It wouldn't make sense of April to back out of coming to SH completely though even if she was uncomfortable with the boat trip, which is what I think that whole plotline was a setup for, keep April and Rory away for the summer so LL can fix things. I think she's going to get in to a summer camp thing or some swim team thing which actually keeps her away completely.

But where is the drama in that? Didn't you get bored watching that scene?

Is it me or did Lorelai's concern about Luke being on a boat in the middle of nowhere together with April sounded like a wife&mom worried about her husband and kid being God knows where?

I don't know it sounded not only so genuine but, like all of LL scene in the past even prior to theri love relationship - so wifey/mummy kinda thing.

I'm sorry, I'm not english so I'm not sure I was able to make my point clear

A camp-like program was actually what I was thinking of. Between the swim team and her academic ambition, I can't imagine that she wouldn't have some conflicting summer activity on the horizon.

I loved the interaction between L/L about the boat trip. Luke doesn't have to take it to heart, but he also didn't tell her it wasn't her buisness. It shows he has grown there, and is letting her in.

I think something comes up with April, and it isn't Luke who cancels. I do think that the part about the restaurant and going to Southern Maine, will be useful anyway! I think Lorelai would rather ride something else than any waves!

I must have missed the part that April was just in the phone call, thanks for the info!

YAY for the Grandparents being at the Hollow bash! Makes me happy.

Unexpected reaction?? We know they kiss but thats not really unexpected is it?
