I'm going on the premise that there is one, so they are dragging out L/L, and we will see everything we want to see in S8.

If there isn't a S8, I'm still not going to be depressed. Life is too short to get that worked up over a tv show. The Virginia Tech shooting taught me that if nothing else.

I'd like for us to know Lorelai's POV during this whole thing. Maybe her pining for something that she feels she can never get back. I would like for Luke to be Luke and do nice things like throw a party for Rory and whatnot... but I also don't want to see him pine. I'd like us to only know that Lorelai is pining for Luke. And at the 55th minute, I'd like for Luke to rant to her that he thought her song was for him. And she says, "It was! It was for you." Much like "There was! There was a moment." from 422 (yes, repetitive and redundant - but hey, the cards we've been dealt).

Watching the DC again, I'm blown over on how much UST there is! They way Luke says "really good", as he's looking at Lorelai's [cough] dress [cough], and Lorelai's response, shows how much they want to just jump each other. That had more sexiness than 1000 C/L bed scenes.

Then Luke follows it up with how "warm" it is and Lorelai agrees. Heh.

Oh I definitely agree!

And if we do get a similar S4 ending on 722, then I would want the teaser of 801 to be LL in bed similar to WITS. That would help me wipe out the ugly images from 701.

I don't want to miss the prelude leading up to the bed scene. ASP cheated us out of that, and 2 1/2 years later I'm still mad, lol.

On my wish list for S8 is to see the steps leading up to their first time back together. I enjoyed the after bed scenes in WitS, but I want more this time.

Dude. Kirk and Lorelai would have had more sexiness than L/C! lol

All very true --especially the KABOOM!

--but it's still difficult to swallow the idea of the series ending with a season 4-esque kiss and a hint of a promising future. I understood if not appreciated the CL marraige, but why spend that much time showing that it DIDN'T work if they are not even going to show that LL CAN work? It's frustrating...but I'm trying to stay positive!

At the very least, I want all the sentiments in place. Like at the end of a cheesy movie, when the girl runs to the guy in the pouring rain and says: "it was always you" -- fade to black. You know? That feeling. I want to KNOW that this is it. I want the whole Gilmore world to know that this is it! I'm scared that if season 8 negotiations fall through at the last minute, this sentiment is going to be choppy and not so cohesive...

I would hope to goodness the ending was written with an 8th Season in mind. Even so, I don't think it's a big enough pay-off for what we've had to endure for the last year and a half - I think we need something a little bit more promising and concrete, to carry us over the summer. I'm just worried it might be anti-climatic. And yeah, a kiss between L/L right now would be a HUGE thing, but only because of the crap that preceeded it. JMO of course, but I can't shake the feeling that we've been played.

But I'll probably squee like the rest of yah lol, but more for Luke. I guess I just don't care about Lorelai by herself anymore.
