I won't change my vote either even though I now think it will be in 722. I've said all along its no fun if you get to change it.

And I am still loving the DC. So sweet. Yeah it's awkward (and yeah it looks wrong in writing whoever mentioned that!) but it's them. They are back! It feels right.. the show feels right... everything feels right!

I still don't understand the small coffee cup, lol. Is that supposed to mean something? Like Luke forgets what kind of a coffee junkie Lorelai is? So weird.

I don't know. I watched the DC again last night and it's not that I hate the scene or anything, and I did laugh at the way Luke mumbled about opening the diner or whatever, but it was just so uncomfortable. I guess I didn't like it over all because I felt uncomfortable. It's hard to watch LL trying to work things out. Everything seemed to flow so much more naturally when they were together in the maze.

We saw Lorelai's reaction after she walked out of the diner, I wonder if it'll cut back into the diner so we can see Luke banging his head against the wall, lol. Or all the townies staring at him and he can look up and just be like "What?" and walk away.

Mots I doubt they will show Luke's POV after Lorelai left.

IMO Luke has cut way back on his coffee supplies since him number 1 customer has not been around, so to make more money he's selling it in smaller cups

Honestly I think the small cup is about it being impossible to pour coffee from a big mug into a take away cup. I don't think we are supposed to read anything into it. Though. I am normally wrong so it properly will have some sort of meaning. lol.

I think I like it because it is uncomfortable. I think it would have being odd if they would just have been totally comfortable and back to normal the first time she goes back. It has been 9 months.. or whatever Kirk said. lol

Spot on. That's why I like it too. The uncomfortable-ness (is that a word?)
God, I love it. I have watched way to many times already.
I'm crazy but I love these babysteps in getting together/back together just as much as when they are actually together.

I'm off already. Long painting weekend and I have to watch 'Grey's Anatomy' ep 20 first

. But I sure hope I'll be able to pop in at least a few times during the weekend. With paint all over, LOL.

I don't care that it was awkward, it has to be awkward. It was just a lot more awkward and uncomfortable than any of their other meetings this season I think. It's always been weird, but ya know.. a tad normal too, lol. I know someone mentioned it is probably because they aren't on neutral ground anymore, and that could very well be it. But in the maze (yeah, yeah I keep go back to that), we saw a bit of banter, we saw an easy flow of conversation, we saw smiles. And then bam, the next scene we have of them together and you'd never know the scene in the maze happened. At least for me anyway, lol.

I think that was what was bothering me, too. Even when they met up in front of Doose's and made small talk about the baby it was flowy, casual conversation, not so painful.

I wonder if Kirk will comment on the mug after Lorelai leaves. Being OCD and a creature of habit and all, if he knows how many days its been since she was in the diner last, I'm sure he'd also notice the different mug.
