Craig, there's a line missing, where Lorelai says "you can have the seat Kirk."

The humor in this scene isn't in the dialogue, but in how SP and LG play it. I love how LG says "Really?", after Luke said it was warm when he opened the diner in the morning.

That was my favorite part haha She sounds so amazed/excited, like "Wow, we still have something in common!!"

But that's just so LL!! I love LL

I love the DC. The awkwardness is great. I love how she first says that she'll stay. And Kirk, you're so going to have to give up that stool soon.

The CL thing doesn't bother me. They need to be able to remain as friends and still be in this understanding, or else there's nothing preventing another blow up from happening with them later on.

I don't know how I feel about the song stuff coming back up in ep. 21. That means that L/L didn't talk about it or anything when it happened. That means that in 7.21, Lorelai is still denying her feelings.

I hope that L/L can talk about this in ep. 21, and not keep putting this all off until he's impressed her in the finale with the party. I don't want her truly admitting her feelings to him to be because of some grand gesture like that. I also think I wanted her to just acknowledge how she feels and go for it, this time. Not retreat and sulk and take things back she didn't intend to say, but did mean. It's a bit frustrating.

Maybe, since it seems like he overhears her the night after the singing, later in the ep, another day or two later, they actually talk about it?

The only plus side I can see here is that this is our confirmation that Luke's feeling the same way. He wouldn't be upset if he didn't want what she was singing to what she was feeling. So, I guess this means LL are on the same page, just that they're, yet again, not communicating.

So, yeah, bring on the last minute reunion in the finale...

I agree with all of you about Lorelai needing to go after Luke. I wrote this to a friend:

I'm still very excited about the coming episodes; I just really wish we could have seen a grown-up Lorelai who isn't afraid to own her decisions and work to claim her happiness.

Wow! Are we finally back up.
Just watched the DC and it looked like Lorelai was a lot more uncomfortable then Luke was.

Can someone add a roller coaster to the smile icons? We definitely need one.

I've said for a while the Luke is the one who is more okay with things, past is past lets move on kinda way. The DCC shows this as does the description for 21. Luke might show he is hurt maybe he has to make the next move? But first Luke needs to know that Lorelai is over Chris and until then they may be locked in this pattern.

Yeap I hate to say it but any re-union and kiss may not happen till 22, end of 21 at the earliest. But the Rory fans are gonna hate that she "dumps" Logan and maybe the next scene L&L kiss or even spend the night together.

BTW this is all SPEC.

Nadine said something earlier that if she was to bet the DCC would be the teaser, I don't know if that is spec or spoiler and it was before the DCC came out.

IMO it might be the teaser 'cause from the stuff we have so far Lorelai only wears that dress in the diner scene and the other one for all the other stuff we have, so maybe the teaser and then they cut to the next day after the credits?

My bet is the next Lorelai scene will be driving when the Jeep breaks down, Luke to the rescue
