| Coming out of my regularly scheduled lurkdom to say... I have a feeling that Luke was planning to tell Lorelai how he feels, and then he hears her say that. I also have a smaller feeling, that maybe he says something to her later which could erupt into a small tiff about what she said, and then a kiss maybe? Mmmmm that's what I like to think. | Ya know, it's all in Lorelai's facial expression when she says it doesn't "mean anything." It's like with the ILYs with Chris. Just trying to convince herself, but just lying to herself. Maybe Luke can't see her face. Where's Jess? Luke needs his book back now. ETA: Oh, I definitely had an "ugh" moment at the thought of LC being on friendly terms. That part of their relationship will never change, and I'm sure that they're relieved as friends and for Rory's sake. | I know the L/C pairing is over and done with. I just really have no need to see or listen to him. Purely personal opinion and preference. Nothing storywise at all. As for the Luke and Lorelai thing. I think we just all want them to get together and thus a description that reads that Luke is hurt is clearly not moving forward.
