I haven't heard anything sorry - they might mention it in reviews next week though if it doesn't make it into the CW promo. I'm still predicting that the ep 20 promo may be a combined promo (that's not a spoiler just speculating since they've done it in the past).

I actually chuckled a bit when Luke said, "You know when I opened the diner this morning, I remember thinking... how warm it was." I haven't chuckled in a while.
That was a great line. That and Miss Patty and Babette just staring in the background ready to run to the gossip columns.

IMO It needs to be Lorelai to say something and I thought that would be the song, maybe she talks to Luke later (after he over hears the "I didn't mean it" stuff) and they come clean in 20, maybe he then kisses her?

These are the BIG spoilers we need answered!

But also
- where is PA?
- will Luke continue to wear the braclet?
- will Rory keep running to mummy for advice?

No shooting, TA. Like I said, I get it. But I am just sick to death of him, and them. I would have been fine with a passing mention, "It's nice that your Dad finally made it to an important event for you, Rory. And then we toasted out divorce being final." Heh.

ASP/DR LOVE to make us nuts. As long as we react to Chris, he'll return.

By turning off the TV or leaving the room? I don't think that is the reaction they are looking for.

Did they do much for 50 or 100, I can't remember?

I know 50 was on ET or something as was 100 and they had the lame 100th special on the DVD, way too short, give MM more to do!

I mean this is a BIG mile stone so why not promote it?

Stupid CW!

I'm curious as to what his role will be if there's a season 8. Non-existent? I don't see why he would need to come back, unless Rory and Logan get married.

ETA: Woa, weird thought. Would he come to LL's wedding??

Why on earth would Luke ever think she still had romantic feelings for him? His screw up last year had to do with fear and April-not finding someone else's bed to jump into and then marry. He needs to know that the C/L thing is really dead for her as a romance - As far as he knows, she may still be carrying a torch for Chris since he doesn't know what happened between her and Chris.

He's probably figuring she's just trying to establish their old friendship again. She's gotta let him know she still has feelings for him that are more than friendship. I hope that after he feels "hurt" she finds out and goes to him to clear it up and makes the first move that ends in the kiss....
Well, I guess we've found a new tree!

I think marrying and sleeping with Chris is besides the point. She doesn't think he loves her, he doesn't think she loves him, so obviously someone has to make the first move. As far as I can tell from spoilers, Lorelai has made more than one move, going to the diner, inviting him car shopping, and asking him to karoeke. As for saying none of these are direct enough, well Luke changing caps isn't exactly a long conversation. And his awkwardness in the DC isn't giving her any confidence either.

Yes, Lorelai is being weak in denying her feelings, she should just come clean. But as you said perhaps she does make the first move. Obviously, something happens that encourages Luke to do the party.

I just can't be down on Lorelai for this one. She waited on Luke for four years before he finally got in gear. He needs to step up the pace.

Wait a sec are you referring to celebrations or actual promos?

50 not so much. The 100th episode they did a ton of publicity for + promos on the network which resulted in massive ratings for the episode. 150th episode - well there was a cake (since there have been reportings of that around the time of filming) but CW haven't done anything yet in terms of promos.

Slow day at work, Lancer?

I don't mind Chris being in the graduation ep, if it means it's final closure. Last we heard from Lorelai he was the man she wanted to want, and maybe DR feels we, and Chris, need to know she no longer wants to want him.

I wonder if Christopher will ask Lorelai about Luke. I can see him doing that and Lorelai saying that if that's the kind of conversation they are going to have, then she doesn't want to have any conversation at all, and Christopher apologizes and then they move on.

That I would like. I fully expect him to give his blessing and the idea causes me indigestion. I think that is partly why I am cranky about his appearance. (Aside from the being SO sick of him reason.)

I expect Christopher to give some sort of blessing as well, but I don't want to see it. I don't want Christopher or his words to have anything to do with why Lorelai and Luke get back together. Lorelai doesn't need nor should she want his blessing. And I don't really think it's his right to give it either. But he's Christopher and he probably will anyway.

Though the guys and Lorelai's relationship with each should be totally separate at this point I think. They're all adults.

Define "final".
For that matter, define "closure". How many freaking final closures do they need? (Don't answer.)

Works for me, but I somehow doubt that's what DR has in store.
