I just hate how after the whole season they are still dragging this out till the end, it sucks. What they we have to wait 3-4 months if we are lucky for season 8!

The DC is amazing. Reading everyone's recaps of it, I wasn't expecting much. After watching it, I realized that it's impossible to explain the chemistry between the two...infreakingcredible. Love it...two parts especially: 1) Lorelai's look when Luke says he's doing really good and 2) "Really?"

I'm a happy girl. My Texas sunshine and LL are both FINALLY back!

ETA: Did anyone cringe when Kirk mentioned the "Partings" night? It made my heart hurt.

I would definitely be okay with that if they weren't being so freaking secretive about where LL stand by that point. I want to know when they get back together so I can't worry anymore. Because, yes, I'm loving that LL are back and the next 2 episodes are going to be freaking amazing, but I really want to know when they are really together again...

I can't remember what your spec was, but do you mean regarding the dress she's wearing in the DC? No there's more than one scene.

BTW - my SPEC is always moving LOL.

But this time it was that after the credits (the next day) the next Lorelai scene could be her diving when the Jeep stops. So I guess Lorelai goes to the DFI after the credits. I also guess going by the clothes she wears most of the rest of the ep is over one day.

WOW work is hard today LOL

I don't understand how you knew that The CW website would post the teaser of 7.19. Seems to me it would be more like a lucky guess that just happened to turn into a spoiler.

Same here. Half the time I think they'll save that for the putative season 8 which might - or might not - happen.

For what it's worth, we've got Ausiello's statement that there is a kiss, and I believe he was talking about this year. On the other hand, presumably ep 722 is still being edited.

Same here, I love the awkwardness. It's how it should be for now. They were trying in the promo, trying to talk, but they're just not back at that point yet. What matters to me is that she took the big step to go back in there, and that they both got through it, no matter how awkward or kirk-filled it was.

Plus he wouldn't let her pay. After all this, she still gets her coffee on the house.

But the thing is that she shouldn't need that this time. She shouldn't need him to do this great, impressive thing before she opens are eyes and decides that maybe she will get back together with him. I don't want Lorelai to come off that way again. It's how she was earlier this season with Chris. She only went back with him because he was there, telling her how much he loved her. It will be awful if Lorelai waits until Luke does something like organizing the party before she can openly, and while sober, say how she feels. It would that she really didn't change all that much and still can't fight for Luke and face the risk of not getting him.

That's why I hope they can talk sometime in ep. 21. If ep. 21 ends with Luke still upset and her still denying her feelings, how little of LL together would we even be able to get in the finale with all the Rory and Townie stuff that's more important? The last thing I want is LL to make up at minute 50, then the next scene be the Lorelais and Luke in the diner for the final scene.
