After I posted this and read over it...I realized the answer to my own question. That is what Logan says at the very end of the episode, during the fade to black. Man, I have been thinking about that all day...guess I just needed to write it down to figure it out!

I am completely ignoring the fact that MA has recently posted anything regarding season 8...it is the only way for me to deal!

Doesn't Logan ask this in the very end of the eppy? Might be wrong, though...

WEll, think of all the buzz their building for the show by having this will they won't they season 8 thing going on? I mean, at least on the internet, people are going crazy. Will they come back? Won't they? It's a great way to create a buzz for the show and it's cheep.

This could be considered a great marketing ploy.

Because those are the last lines of the Episode. Logan says them to Lorelai after he says he wants her permission to marry Rory and she goes into shock.

The Internet Movie Database (IMDb) lists him for 151 episodes...so if every season has 22 episodes -and the 20 episodes of season 7 are counted in- he must have missed only one episode...if i counted right

I think they count every episode he appears in, no matter if he has any lines

If this is the end then it certainly is not a satisfying end. If all we get is 1 kiss in the finale then L&L are not even where they were at the end of season 4. What a waste of 3 seasons then (as far as the L&L relationship goes).

I'm nor preading the vibes, I'm thinking logic here. If it was the very end they would promote it like a very end, they wouldn't end the show they way they end, trust me I know how it would end if it was the end and it doesn't end this way, and there's a reason for that.
the whole "scare" of unknown is the best marketing move they can do with a show that was slowly drawning.. now with everyone screaming WE WANT IT BACK! it's the best they could get. and most important they wouldn't blame the actors.... this is a thing that might ruin some people's carieer and once GG is back everyone will cherish LG and AB for signing

I thought, for like a few weeks, there was going to be a shortened 8 season.

Well Logan says Lorelai? as the last line, but the CC and video only has it once so I guess it's a title that is not said, or not said completely.

Okay off to work and lurk, don't go to far, I'll try and keep up through the day.

And if the DCC turns up I'll do the TS when I get home, unless someone else wants to.

I think thats what i was going by... cause some he didnt have lines? idk, i guess im wrong, but i've always thought he only missed one. W/E i must have been going by that..

And, season 1 only has 21 episodes
