Just knowing Chris is done as a romantic partner, I really don't mind. I will live with his appearance hoping he is still pining for Loreali but knowing he can't have her because she is in love with Luke - makes the whole Christopher rears his head thing tolerable for me.

I didn't read that they were going to be strained with one another - I just figured they probably each privately thought it was going to be weird with each other and when they come face to face, it is fine.

Luke? He wasn't in I Get a Sidekick Out of You. He wasn't in the Hobbit, the Sofa, and Digger Stiles. Those are just two others that come to mind, but there are more than that.

Just on that note- I was really happy to see last night that Luke is still SO tuned in to Lorelai. Like when he knew something was wrong with Rory, he automatically knew to ask if everything was okay with Lorelai, because he understands their relationship so much better then other people do. He understands that when Rory is upset, Lorelai probably is too. It was just nice to see.

It reminded me to Merry Fisticuffs (sp?) when Lorelai and Rory told him about their late celebration of Christmas, and instead of Christophers "I'm in a forest of crazy!" *or something to that affect*, he simply said "Of course you are," with no sarcasm at all. He gets them. Thats whats so special about that relationship.

ok seriously since when do people believe what MA says????
he has no idea what he's saying seriously, he only says that to say anything to make everyone believe he knows, when he doesn't.
this is the guy who doesn't see a different between front seat and the back seat or between a peck and make out? why would you believe him now. He changes his statement every freaking week...

I really want to know how much of MA's report is him being a tool. Probably a lot considering his 6 responses to the kiss question.

Leave it to MA to burst the wonderful bubble we were in.
I think AB is the real holdout. LG, supposedly, wanted to come back but AB didn't.
LG said she won't come back w/o AB. To leave the rest of the cast and crew hanging like this is totally unfair to them.
I just hate the idea of watching the last eppy not knowing, but I'm going to try to keep the season 8 vibes going.

As to episodes SP didn't appear in, you can look at the transcripts of all the shows and see which ones he wasn't in - Twiz TV has them.

As to MA, he has also been right many times - so there's a part of me that pays attention to what he says. This whole season 8 thing is just too hinky to me - I think all the entertainment reporters - like MA, Kristin, whoever, - are being played by DR and TPTB. This whole thing makes no sense at this late date.

But if there really had been a decision made awhile ago and the show is coming back - really, why not just announce it? That's why I think it isn't.

At least I'm planning on going into the next two episodes thinking it is the end - if it comes back, it will be a great surprise.

After I posted this and read over it...I realized the answer to my own question. That is what Logan says at the very end of the episode, during the fade to black. Man, I have been thinking about that all day...guess I just needed to write it down to figure it out!

I am completely ignoring the fact that MA has recently posted anything regarding season 8...it is the only way for me to deal!
