I think the next 2 eps will show the contrast between the Lorelai's two worlds, next week E&R then the final with the townies. I can't wait till the worlds meet in the form of E&R going to Stars Hollow.

I wasn't that fond of the dc. The little ER show was just what ?! I hope we'll get a bit of Stars Hollows, Luke and Luke/Lorelai but the graduation and all that jazz - not really my thing.

I liked the DCC mainly 'cause of E&R but also Chris is just there as Rory's father, DSR would be an IDIOT to make it more than that!

Who knows maybe in some way talking to Chris prompts Lorelai to talk to Luke about the misunderstanding over the "the song meant nothing" incident.

That would require that Lorelai knows that Luke overheard her saying it meant nothing and that he is hurt. And I really hope she notices that he is hurt and tells him that she really meant what she sang...

Who says Lorelai doesn't know, or at least suspect. I now think he hears her in the Diner, maybe coming down the stairs or out of the store room?

I don't think Lorelai knows Luke overhears her. That way both would know it and I think they would confront each other with it. I mean if she blurts it out and turns around and sees Luke standing there they have to talk about it then.

I've been thinking about whether she knows that he overhears or not and is still not sure. If she does overhear that would maybe require for them to talk about it and therefore the kiss in 7.22 could hardly be unexpected.
