And just to say it again: I LOVE the karaoke scene so much, still can't stop watching it!
And: I so don't want Luke to get hurt next epi... why do they have to do this??

RICHARD: Ladies and gentlemen, ladies and gentlemen. First let me thank you for coming to celebrate my grand daughters graduation. Ouch [Emily pinches Richard on the arm.] I do beg your pardon, celebrating our grand daughters graduation.

EMILY: Well I can’t let him take all the credit, have you seen her, can you blame me?

[Rory and Logan smile at each other as the crowd chuckles.]

RICHARD: So when my wife and I sat down to write this toast we ran into something of a problem. All of our words sounded too mundane, to insignificant to mark such an auspicious occasion as Rory’s graduation from Yale, so instead. Maestro.

EMILY: Please excuse we’re not singers.

[Piano music starts]

RICHARD: Never let them see you sweat dear.

[Short pause and the music plays.]

RICHARD: [singing] You’re the top.

[Rory and the crowd are surprised]

RICHARD: [singing] You have graduated.

EMILY: [singing] You’re the top, you’re grand parents are elated.

RICHARD: [singing] Newspaper editor, Phi Beta Kappa, WOW!

EMILY: [singing] You’re a revelation, a huge sensation.

RICHARD: [singing] You should take a bow.

EMILY: [singing] You are done, no more school for you.

RICHARD: [singing] There is nothing now that you can’t do.

EMILY: [singing] You make us proud, we’ll sing it loud.

RICHARD: [singing] It’s true.

[Applause and laughter from the crowd]

LOGAN: Yeah.

RORY: Oh thank you so much, you know that none of this would be possible without your help. You should all know that, that there is no way that I could be a Bulldog “through and through” if it weren’t for these two. So thank you so much grandma and grandpa.

I'm not looking forward to it as much as the last two and 7.22, but I'm somehow looking forward to the Luke overhearing Lorelai. I'm also wondering if they talk at all in this ep. I mean the first post-karaoke meeting. Interesting.

Why hasn't anyone made a tv that could automaticly blur Chris when he appears on tv? ;-)

IWALY scene is officially on my top 5 of favorite LL moments. Rory's look is my favorite Rory look ever!

I wouldn't worry about the ratings. The ratings for most shows are down the last few weeks. Some attribute it to the early time change and some say it's the use of tivo/dvr's.

Watched it again. Love it when Lorelai closes her eyes for a split second at the word 'dreamed". *letsoutbigsigh*

Notice how Lorelai almost speaks some of the lines instead of singing them. Great.
Not to go to that tree again, but someone just said to me that this song with all the ILY's must be to make up for the lack of ones earlier, LOL

top of the range ep, probably the best for the season & i got to say im not the one to cry but a tear dropped from my eye while lorelai was singing that to luke!!

i think i might even cry some more if my number 1 favourite show in the world ends after 7 seaons!!!

lauren graham your a star!! and also cant wait for tonight im going to watch because i said so!! woo hoo!
