So I wope up and watched the karaoke scene again. And then after that, maybe 14 times more and I didn't quite study for my French final. Bleh... Can't get my eyes off this scene!

When was the last time you rewatched a moment so many times your VCR/DVD was going to explode?

Even though I watched the car scene a few times, it's not as nearly as big as the karaoke scene. I think the last time I watched so intensely and so many times was maybe like, the Waltz (4.21), the horoscope moment + the dirty afterwards (5.03) or the "Do you love me?" (5.15)... After that, Luke and Lorelai never were intense enough for me really... until now

Okay, I haven't caught completely up, or anything (I'm mostly just a lurker here anyway), but I just wanted to say:

We need a S8, for all of the obvious reasons (LL and Lorelai/Richard/Emily interaction, and to see Rory's plans...and...you know). BUT, also so we can have at least one very mini storyarc where Lane goes backwards on the "maturity" she seemed she had acquired. We'd see her follow Zack to the show, baby in tow, one strapped to the back, one to the front. And her hiding in the bushes with a set of binnoculars. Then to confront him while he's talking to some chick, about ready to give it to him, when she finds out he's showing her pictures of the boys, and she's showing him pictures of her kids-- or something. Cutest, and funniest moment EVER.

Then again, just an idea.

And then Luke straddlin' plenty of stools. Why does it feel like we've never seen that before? It turns out ASP didn't know how to play up her assets either. Which actually turn out to be SP's.... well, you get the picture.

I had a feeling during the scenes with Lane/Zack that they were setting up Zack not being on the show next season. Did anyone else sense that? Wasn't there a spoiler somewhere saying some of the actors didn't want to return. I wonder if it was Lane/Zack.

I loved the Karaoke scene! So much raw emotion. I wanted to cry but kept myself together so my husband wouldn't make fun of me. Beautiful. I have to watch the whole episode over again later.

I hope not, I would miss Zach. But I don't think so, wouldn't the tour be over the summer? So if there's a time skip he would be there when the show returns.

The Karaoke scene was one of the best LL moments, though I had to cringe a few times when Lorelai sang, but I guess it was intended cause she couldn’t hold a tone when Luke walked in. I love the looks they shared, so sweet.

I was finally able to watch "the scene" w/o anyone around and I cried.

Luke should propose this time.

If Lane/Zack don't return, I'll be TICKED off. Lane's been there since S1, she can't leave. And if Zack goes away, and all the fame goes to head, I'll be ticked off. I like Zack. I like it that he's so dumb sometimes, but I like it that he has a friendship with Luke, or something... It's cute. And Zack can't go off, and not return. He just can't. No.

Then again, I want everybody to return.

There's no one I'd be willing to sacrfice. NO ONE.

BTW, where the frick was Taylor? He should have come storming in about something or other.

ETA: It's definately Luke's turn to propose. And it's his turn to pick something for the wedding, and all of that. It can't be all like Lorelai found a day that everythin worked out on, and she found the perfect dress, and all this crap. I want Luke to be apart of it. And I want Sookie to buzz off a bit. Because a couple should plan their special day together. I'm not saying I want Luke to help her out with the invitations, choose the stationary, but I want him to make a big gesture. Something really special, like putting something fancy to the chuppah

I'm just stopping by to say that I loved last nights episode. Why did it take them sooo long to make good episodes again? Oh right, the whole stupid Christopher-intervention?

So, no news on the possible 8th season?

I just realized that with the Dragonfly SUV, we were cheated out of getting a scene with luke pumping air into Lorelai's bike tires or Lorelai riding around honking her horn.

Oh, well. Warming up her pipes in the bar (along with Luke's heart and ours), more than made up for that.
