And isn't this also so characteristic of what Luke and Lorelai are going to have to do post-kiss? They have a heck of a lot of baggage, and a lot of reasons to still be hesitant, cynical, and hurt, but they are going to have to choose to put the past in the past and focus on the NOW. Which, I think, is what life's about. I'm sad and bitter about the ending, too, but I think I'll really regret it if I go into the series finale with a negative attitude, so I'm going to try my very best not to do so.

Ugh. I always hated Saturday finals. I had so much empathy for Rory with the crankiness of having a final when most of the damn university is done. Grr.

I always seem to get a Saturday final. At least this quarter, for the first time in over a year, I don't have a final on the last day. Just 3 on one day.

I do love that Rory scene....and how she can't sleep post-finals. Now I want to watch those episodes!!

OT--I'm getting creeped out here--I'm doing my fall quarter schedule for my senior year of college. where the heck did all the time go?

Hi Guys

There was a Global promo for the last episode tonight during HOUSE. I don't remember if they mentioned it being the SERIES finale or not.

There were a lot of clips smushed in the promo, half of which were old (aka, not from the upcoming episode...for example the L/L wave in 7.14). I can't recall much because I was only half paying attention (seriously DID NOT expect to see a GG promo). I do, however remember seeing a closer shot of the L/L kiss. Lorelai is putting her arms around Luke's shoulders/neck

And she's kind of sucking his face

And because I am snarky and moody about this kiss already, I have to say that the manner in which Lorelai/Lauren kisses is pretty much the same as the Chris/Lorelai kiss at the end of episode 7.08...arms around neck, taking in a breath...

I'll see if it airs again tonight. But all I can provide is a recap.

Yep...tomorrow 5PM = freedom. I only have one final, one of the perks of being a journalism major

Although I'm taking an LSAT class starting Monday, so my freedom will last about a day and a half lol.

I TOTALLY feel you on the senior thing...I still can't believe I'm going to be a senior next year. I try not to think about it too much or I get seriously freaked out...

I don't know if it's get sick of the job, I get to play with PhotoShop all day. Learning new things and access to the Internet for work. I hope it lasts a long time.

is a)something you can tell from a .02 second clip or b)anything to be snarky/moody about.

We can always change the title, I some how doubt they will just close the thread. I'm hoping they let us go to 300 post and then it is closed. Maybe with links on the last (or 2nd last) post to the Gilmore board and some of the threads people can visit.

Maybe we need to write something for the last post?

The two second shot (or less than two seconds) reminded me of how Lorelai kissed Christopher in 7.08. It was like the same kissing technique. The movemets that Lorelai did are the same.

Of course, I have no idea how long the L/L kiss actually will be, nor if the entire kiss is going to look exactly as I saw it, nor if the clip I saw in the Global promo actually airs in the episode at all.

It's just my opinion anyway.
