We should have got less LG interviews, and more SP. He seems to put your mind at ease, and to hear he'll be so busy after GG is exciting. I'm sad about GG (don't get me wrong), but I love it that he'll have so man other productions, and we'll get to see him. I'm very excited for Saw 4, it's just a bonus that SP will be in it. I think I'll go check his upcoming roles as well.

I DO think, however, that LG/SP weren't close. But that doesn't matter. He thinks she's a professional, and they worked WELL together (from our end product), so it doesn't matter. He highlights that she's a good actress but says nothing about her character/attitude. But it's good enough for me. SP saved it

Thanks for bringing SP's interview over, Caf.
Quite a candid interview.
He gave some info about the girls negotiations and that they were lacking in passion.
I liked how he responded to the LL story not satisfying and his working relationship with Lauren and his love for ASP.
I didn't like his response about only missing the fact that he had a regular job, as if this was just a job, but I guess he was trying to be a bit light on that and I guess it was just a job and only we the fans, put so much more time and energy and emotions dissecting everything on GG, that we thought they all did.

For me, SP is Luke and I love him as Luke, I don't know if I'll be interested in checking every other project he does. He was perfect especially acting opposite LG and the two combined, were what made it special to me. But we'll see. I hope he'll get a steady job though soon.

Thanks for the rerun dates, curlyhead and for all the other info you brought us. Don't I wish that was only a hiatus schedule till next season ....

Wish I could move on like the actors give us the impression they're doing ....

Thanks for the info. I was wondering if the CW was going to air repeats this summer. Usually networks won't do that that for cancelled shows.

eta: Thanks for bringing that over caf. What a gracious and diplomatic and APPRECIATIVE man. From that interview I feel like he's the only one who "gets" it. Of course he could be a good BS'er too, lol but hey that takes talent, and is better than coming across as flippant.

Looking forward to seeing him in a non-bloody role lol.

I love SP!! I cant wait to see him in movies! He's so caring for his fans and knows how we feel, unlike other people. He praises Lauren alot which is so admirable

People commenting on Ausiello's report, whoever you are, SP lovers no doubt, but don't wish him a role on VM, lol, that show might be the next cancelled and has very poor ratings. Wish him something greater on a big network.

It was just a job for him - but, a really good, lucky job. We should all be so fortunate to have gotten a gig that was such high quality for years, with people we really love like he feels about ASP, but still is a job.

While watching his short interview when he went to the Green premier, he says he went to the event so he could get out of his trailer and then he would go back and stand on his mark; I recall him also saying in response to when Luke would put the blue hat on again, he said when the wardrobe people give it to him.

He has always said how incredibly lucky he is that ASP chose him for the role - but, they see the show so differently - all those wonderful little moments we adore, they are doing with a camera a few inches from their faces, with lights all around them and crew members just out of camera range - I get that that would seem like a job. We all then get to see the wonderful result of all that work...

Anyway, anyone else think it's FUNNY in an HAHA TOLD YAH SO way that the CW is skipping over the L/C episodes in reruns?

Oh, I think its freakin' histerical! I wonder why they are skipping them....hehe
if they showed 7.04-7.13 again they will get about 2 people watching. NO ONE wants to relive the horror of L/C and their marriage that was doomed to fail from the beginning. I'f rather rewatch the ones they are showing...

Maybe someone finally pointed out all those comments on their blogs to them where they specifically asked viewers and fans what the think about the experiment and Chris.

What a great interview. Thanks for bring it over, Caf! He seems to be a little more in touch with the show and the characters. SP is gracious to the fans and well spoken. I hope he finds a great show next season. What other shows does the WB studios handle that they could slide him in to? I'm not familiar with all of their programs. Didn't someone once mention ER?

LG should hire Scott to be her spokesman. She doesn't come off nearly as well. I'll go so far as to say mindless idiot that incessantly giggles. Really annoying at times and I wonder if she even realizes how bad it makes her look sometimes. She should stop doing Ellen completely. JMO, of course.

The only disappointment about this interview is that there was no audio to go with it - or, even better would have been a visual - but I would have loved to hear him talking....maybe next time.

Thanks for the SP interview. I love that man. He's so great to the fans and shows that he really does understand who kept this show alive. I'm also glad to know he's ok with all this. Hearing that from LG and SP let me let go a little easier. Here's to hoping they at the WB put SP on an actual show, and not some pilot or a one time guest spot. His answer about LL, though, didn't really bother me. It's nothing we didn't know already.

Just my thoughts on the CW: If the ending of GG can make Supernatural and OTH live on, so be it. But I think the CW would be idiots and never hear the end of it if they renew VM. I love the show, but they're letting GG go when it has 4 million viewers, and VM didn't even make it to 2 million last week. You just don't keep shows with those ratings, no matter how much you love them. Upfronts week should be very interesting, and I wish tons of questions about GG unto DO during any Q&A she has.

No wonder George Clooney hasn't been inspired to invite her out on a date, assuming that he watches Ellen.

Wow the show's over in like a few days.

Ciaobella: you're totally right. SP interview makes it easier to let go. I think is because he doesn't go all "yay, it's over" and gives a much deeper portrait of his work - and the crew work - and has a great insight about the LL story.

Actually his words were basically what I thought about that SL and the fact that there could have been a little more about it.

He also mention feeling both sad and relieved at the same time, which is very warm and human. IMO.

So they'll re-run the first 3 eps of the 7th season but not the one with LC in it? Is that even possible?
I mean they either re-run the whole season or not - which is already weird since they don't re-run cancelled shows - but to run bits and pieces of it, it's like admitting there are parts not worth a re-air.

I'm among the few that though - just like SP said - that the LC thing was inevitable. The relationship experiment was the only way to get the "what if" that Chris always represented to Lorelai.
On the other hand a marriage that took a huge chunck of the season wasn't necessary.
