It's actually Logan who says "Lorelai, Lorelai?". He says "Lorelai" before they cut to black and we see a dazed-faced Lorelai. He then says "Lorelai?" after the screen goes black.

I added in the 2nd Lorelai (I think but I'll check) 'cause I assumed as much but yes on my copy the 2nd Lorelai was cut. I'm grateful for those who make them (You have no idea how much) but sometimes they are a little to eager with the editing at the end.

Does anyone know who decides what extras go on the DVDs?
Is it still ASP's decision or the studio or network?

I am signed up qand everything, but I can't get it to work.

I guess I am excited for the final, but it iws so bittersweeet. I am also regretting the time when it finally arrives.

Is it just me or does it seem as if they had a talk or something before the kiss ? I mean both are walking straight toward each other and it looks as if they think: Hey I haven't kissed you today. Come here.

I just want to take this time to say that you guys are the best and i will miss this thread so much, from the time i fell in love with gilmore girls and LL i knew they would be in my life forever and they always will be.

Well, I am thinking the "I just want to see you happy" is before the kiss?? But I am sure from the way the camera pans out that it is the scene before the last... SO I have no idea when the "heavily implied" fits in.

I haven't heard the audio promo, just read it here, but it seems to me that perhaps they meet up and Luke says he just wants her to be happy, and then turns to leave, when Lorelai calls him back, "luke." and then we see them coming in straight for the kiss.

Sound plausible?

So sad to think that this is the last of our specs ....

I think there is some sort of talk after Lorelai kisses Luke after he says he just likes to see her happy - then maybe some talk - and that's the lead in to the kiss we see - love the Global version - you can see how when he pulls her to him, she is pulled up - I like it, means she's not wearing high heels - very sexy.

Always something subversive about ASP - while never showing L/L wedding/marriage - she did manage to show: the proposal, Luke buying a ring, her planning the wedding, her in the wedding dress, Luke kissing her while in the wedding dress, standing under the chuppah, Luke being a dad, renovating the house, staring each other down during the "I chose you" part of E/R's renewal vows, dancing at a wedding (E/Rs and Liz/TJ's), etc. So, for those moments, I thank ASP at the same time shaking my fist at her....

Oh well. I know some people have talked about how it seems like this whole town is only focused on Lorelai and Rory and make a big deal about them but clearly that is the charm of this show - the underlying "fantasy" of a place like SH. And, it kind of represents, in their case, the concept of "it takes a village" - I love how the townies love these two and have been a big part of their lives while Lorelai worked her butt off to support them - it shows that Lorelai embraced them and the town as much as they did her and Rory.

I don't know if you guys care, but the CW is rerunning GG episodes 7.01-7.03 starting on May 29th. I don't know about the rest of the schedule, but June will have repeats.

eta: clmorrow, I envy you. I'd feel better about the show, have more left to go away with, if I could only excise those, and some others, from my brain, too. They led nowhere, in the end.
