Okee, George, Ciao ... I know, it is OVER, but I am a sucker for hope ...
Yeah well what kind of a mistake is that ? Did the dude who puts the page up just take the old one or what ? It doesn't make sense to switch it back after a week. Believe me I don't want to go there either but are they having fun torturing us even more ?

ARG I'm going to watch Lost now to get my mind off things.

I'm not getting my hopes up. It took me a week to start posting here again because I was so upset. I've accepted the fact that it will be over Tues, and I agree with the fact that we got 2 years of L/L together. Most shippers don't even get that.

Yep, me too, but like you, I'm not going there.

That's what you get today, so i bet the other side in an old one (checked it, it's old look the dates).

But did they really announced a season8 once? That means a season8 was settled, or?

Let's just pretend that we didn't see any of these things so we don't get our minds wandering and they get lost or hurt.

Heh. I love Lost, but it's definitely not the show I would watch to get my mind off something, unless I want to be thinking about the crazy stuff that goes on at that island for the next few hours....

We had a season and a half to see L/L together and happy as a couple, which is more than the fans of these shows got, and we'll end with them in a good place.

I'm still angry at the SherPa, but I don't feel "betrayed" or "lied to" by anyone this season. I feel DSR made a good faith effort to clean up the mess Amy and her little dog Danny left behind, and I believe he was telling what he truly felt was a good story. I hated the story he told, and I may have sometimes scratched my head at the execution, but he gave us some nice moments, and the last few episodes have shown that he can do good things with this show once he gets out from under the SherPa's crap pile.

As for the negotiations? Stuff happens. No one lied to us, because there was never any official word either way until the end. We were counting on rumors and mistaken "inside sources," and we were wrong.

I feel sorry for anyone who says that the last season has "tainted" the earlier episodes for them. I don't see this season as a betrayal of anything that came before it--characters made very bad decisions based on pain and anger, and I hated what some of them did, but it doesn't negate what happened earlier. I'm taking the long view of the show and its characters, and I understand that sometimes they had to through rough patches and dark spots in their stories.

I'm excited about the finale. It may not be completely satisfactory, but it sounds like it will leave everyone--L/R, L/L, L/E/R--in a nice place. It'll be easier to leave Stars Hollow knowing Rory is off on a grand adventure, L/L have found their way back to each other, Lorelai and Emily reach some sort of understanding, and the Townies are still their crazy, lovable, generous selves.
I agree. You know, that marriage proposal still stands.

Also -- the promo for the Town Tours used to say "final two weeks". Now it doesn't.

It's over. I've accepted it now. It only took me a week to get there. lol.

Lets enjoy the last days despite the disappointment, sadness, anger, etc. Can we all agree that we at least loved the show for many years and try and give it the farewell it deserves?? (Especially since the CW doesn't seem to care much) We should stick together and make it special instead of being negative. Yes I know some feel cheated, robbed, fooled and whatnot (count me in that group) but we wouldn't feel this way if it wasn't a show we all came to love and adore.

The first post should be made into a celebration of all the good moments we had on the show. JMO of course

Or, you know . . . ITA.

I'll contribute a good memory from this season: Luke holding his newborn niece and realizing he needs to retrieve his cajones from Anna. It was all part of what he needed to do if he was going to stop being "Table for One Guy" and become "Family Guy."

Ahh tell me about it. Why did I watch the episode now. Oh man they can't be serious about that. Are they crazy No way is he dead. Not gonna happen. I won't let them He has way too much power in him and over the island - nope he didn't kick the bucket.

Funniest moment of the season:

Chris: Let's make a baby.
Lorelai: What ?

some and some getting closer and then

Lorelai: Seriously I don't want to go for it right now !!

ITA

153 epis. and in nearly every epi. was a good moment, even in the worst one.
