Color me confused BUT why is Gilmore Girls NOT under canceled/ending anymore and moved back to FATE TO BE DETERMINED

I'm still angry at the SherPa, but I don't feel "betrayed" or "lied to" by anyone this season. I hated the story he told, and I may have sometimes scratched my head at the execution, but he gave us some nice moments, and the last few episodes have shown that he can do good things with this show once he gets out from under the SherPa's crap pile.

As for the negotiations? Stuff happens. No one lied to us, because there was never any official word either way until the end. We were counting on rumors and mistaken "inside sources," and we were wrong.

I feel sorry for anyone who says that the last season has "tainted" the earlier episodes for them. I don't see this season as a betrayal of anything that came before it--characters made very bad decisions based on pain and anger, and I hated what some of them did, but it doesn't negate what happened earlier. I'm taking the long view of the show and its characters, and I understand that sometimes they had to through rough patches and dark spots in their stories.

I'm excited about the finale. It may not be completely satisfactory, but it sounds like it will leave everyone--L/R, L/L, L/E/R--in a nice place. It'll be easier to leave Stars Hollow knowing Rory is off on a grand adventure, L/L have found their way back to each other, Lorelai and Emily reach some sort of understanding, and the Townies are still their crazy, lovable, generous selves.

I couldn't agree more. I've been watching some of my favorites, and even some of the ones from earlier this season, and I can enjoy them

was it ever changed to canceled? i mean, after the announcement last week. i haven't really been checking that website.

I'm confused right along with you! I am not even going to read into that because I don't want the rug pulled out from under me again. But I do recall it was in the cancelled list last week. WEIRD

ETA I have been known to be wrong before, so maybe I only dreamed it was in the cancelled section?????????

Yes it was under canceled/ending. That's why I am so confused right now. And when you click on Gilmore Girls you get this:

The Upfronts thing probably just hasn't been corrected.

I went back to watch the serenade and it definately didn't feel as sweet after seeing how it played out this week. Sometime after the finale I'll watch it again - having seen for myself that L/L reunite.

Yep they had it under cancelled for a week now, or what cappu said.
If you search the site, you can't find the cancellation announcement either.

I think it was commodore who specced that The Big Fat Freakin' Kiss would happen at 8:55 PM EST. I think she wins the final pool. And it just leaves enough time for the Full Circle Ending.

Cappu I am thinking it's one of those mistakes. If you check some of the other networks they haven't been updated either. We know PCD, ANTM and BatG all are coming back and are under the same category.

It's over. Sadly. I'll happily eat my words if anything happens to prove me wrong. lol

Yup. Not quite last minute but not far from. Sucks. But hey.. at least we get a kiss, right?

Well since Amy already did her job and destroyed the show for me with Partings I couldn't make that promise about DR not ruining the show for me. But he got my hopes up that we'll get at least a bit of the show and magic that was LL back. I got a glimpse of that in 19 when their banter was back, I got a glimpse of that in 20 when Lorelai sang the song but then came 21 and that tiny flame didn't survive.

at least the kiss isn't going to be the last thing in the epside, because somewhere it said that the end is going to be like the begining of the pilot, they should be in the dinner.

But why get rid of the cancellation announcement and well, change it from cancelled to yet to be determined ... oh whatever ... no no no no NOOOO ... I am not going there again ... Cappu, why did you have to post that?

ETA Did the DC on the CW site always say Season finale ... just noticed that is says that opposed to series finale of 7th heaven (promo) ...
