hi glo! Glad everything is okay!

I have to admit that I check the TVGuide website every few hours in the hopes that there will be a last-minute reprieve for GG, but I know that's not going to happen. I still have hopes for an SP interview though!

BTW with the TS I'm up to the R&L talk after the proposal, won't get it done tonight 'cause I've been up since 3:30am. I'll get it done tomorrow I hope.

I'm just curious, how the sequence of the scenes between the teaser (R&L at CS) and the party will be. What happens that Luke decides to continue the preparations for the party Lorelai knows nothing about?

Maybe the girls are at home having a last movie day/night, so this is why they don't see the party preparations, plus it's raining.

I just saw the extended promo and already got weapy. I am going to be a mess on Tuesday!

A two hour movie anything would be great, anyone think there is any hope of that?

The next question: if they don't know about the preparations, how long does it last and who "invites" them? Immediately before the party or earlier? I got an impression watching the promo, when she meets Sookie, that not only Luke doing it but the party also it a big suprise for Lorelai!
And what about Emily and Richard?

I think it's pretty clear that if AB or LG have anything to say about it, a movie is out of the question. LG actually seems quite giddy over the whole thing - I don't buy her "sadness" for one second. I can't blame her. She's been whining for about two years now about the show was killing her personal life - I'm sure she's thrilled about having time.

So, will this thread stay open for a day or two after the show ends or will it close right after the episode airs. I can't remember what the mod said.

It will stay open until the weekend.

I would like to see a movie or something to wrap the storylines but i don't trust the network to pull that through.

I think NikNak said it would stay open until the 19th or 20th.

Just SPEC but I think the girls are tricked into coming somehow. Maybe a townie calls them. As for E&R I think someone calls them to invite them to the party, while I'd love it to be Luke I'm thinking Sookie or even Kirk.
