From the very first scene, I knew “Gilmore” and I were meant to find each other. It was love at first sight.
I know that from somewhere Funny how she started in 2004 as well. I didn't have another choice because it took the German television network so long to bring it over and since I was hooked up on the X files when Gilmore girls came out in 2000 I didn't pay attention to other shows. I didn't want to watch the show first because mother/daughter best friends - no thank you but I gave it a try. Just to check it out. To tell people how bad it is you know. Well the first scene came on and I was in love with Luke and Lorelai.

Me neither. Learned my lessons from that show and it's really a shame because there are a couple of amazing shows out there which should deserve the same attention but I can't do it a second time.
Sometimes I'm in danger of losing it with House but so far Gilmore girls brought me right back since they air on the same night but what will happen next season

Well Gilmore is my number 1 show, the website kinda gives it away LOL. But there are LOTS of other shows I follow. I don't know if I'm gonna be this hooked again.

Well, I've been attached to the show ever since the pilot aired, only a few months after it did in the States. That really is nearly seven years.
There never has been, and I don't believe there ever will be a show I'll get so attached and involved with, and actually, hope there isn't, because it's too overwhelming, I'm all in, and that's too much.

Back to the last cast and crew photo - in addition to SP and MC missing, it also seems that Mrs. Kim, Michel (maybe he's way in the back) and Paris aren't part of it, sad for them.

Is it customary for TPTB or cast to take out ads (in THR or Variety) thanking others involved with a show, when it ends? Just curious.

As long as i know they only take the outdoor sets down but not the sound stages. The sound stages to became wraped up.

A guide told me that last year on a tour. The town was taken down but we went inside to the soundstages (no cameras allowed).
The DFI foyer and the kitchen, Lorelai's and Sookie's home (inside) all wrapt up but still there.
By the way, there is no Luke's diner sound stage, every diner scene was actually filmed in the diner.
When they're taking the soundstages down, than there is no hope.

I will never understand how they could be THAT stupid last and this season. I mean Luke and Lorelai is the heart of the show - either as friends or as lovers. We can probably put the LL scenes we got this season into two episodes if we are generous. Fans and critics were complaining about it because it was just not Gilmore girls anymore and they just sat there: What do we care. They don't know what's good anyway. Others were totally oblivious to the fan reactions and couldn't understand it. If you rip the heart out of a show what did they expect ? I mean honestly you make a show for your fans and not for yourself right ? So shouldn't you listen to them rather than ignore them ?

Yes, the same for the Rory/Lorelai rift which dragged on too long and hurt the show as well. They turn a vain, arrogant deaf ear to the sounds coming from fans and critics alike. It's a shame.

Regarding the sets, as I understood, they took everything down, but it's usually archived, as Nadine mentioned, and could therefore be restored if needed. These crew people are experts at putting up and tearing down or changing sets in a manner of days.
Besides, we can do without the CS - since LL have moved to the new home E/R have bought them, and the mansion can change too, if The elder Gilmores move to live closer to LL.

Let me have my denial for a little longer please, I just think until the upfronts there is some hope, look at 7th last year. So until we have reports of dump trucks taking away the CS and other sound stage set we still have some hope. Sound stages can be re-built.

Back from the hospital and everything is ok. New meds will help with blood preassure and heart beat.

Craig you are so not alone. I keep hoping that something happens. Deep down I know I am crazy to hope, but there is hope none the less.

But what with heart beat when Luke and Lorelai kiss? I think, there's no medicine to help!
