I just listened to the audio promo again - I am still not sure if it is a "real" kiss at the end or a kiss on the cheek, because I hope she kisses him and then says something like "With you I ´m happy" and then the big bang kiss comes

Oy, GEORGE, I've been reading your posts, and I feel your pain. I'm with you completely, it's so sad. I wish I could make sense of destroying R/L in the penultimate episode, or the way it was done.

There's no explanation to that or the way LL were written as if they learned nothing till the last sweeping moment, even given high chances there would be a partial season eight. This season was not written as the only way it should've been written - that it's the very last one. It was irresponsible and arrogant and foolish to write it any other way, as they did.

This show deserved a prolonged, grand period of farewells and celebration. So sad.
Has anyone even seen the CW really promoting the finale during broadcasts? How will the show get a proper farewell. And I feel sorry for all involved with the show who will also never get the proper send off after seven full years, with no series wrap party.

But honestly she never turned her eyes away from Luke while singing the song. So she saw what we all saw how can she doubt it didn't mean anything to him ? The diner scene was just stupid and not played out well. First she should have realized he heard her. Second either Patty or Babette should have seen him. They were facing Lorelai and and we looked at Lorelai from their angle. How could they NOT see him.

They should have left her lala dopey land.

I loved how she continued to look at him directly throughout the whole song, barely averting her gaze for a second.
I will always love that scene, no matter how annoyed I am with all the missed opportunities with this show and how it's ending.

And a question to those who might know.

Taking down the sets (which was very difficult for me to read, BTW) - would they normally store the stuff in a specified GG storage holding, like the artifacts used, pictures hanging, lamps, vases, plus larger things like furniture and appliances, etc?

Or do they just throw it out or use it for other productions?

Usually they're sent to archives, unless the actors, production, etc want a particular memento.

Season6, I didn't like Lorelai but tried to understand her and could understand.
Partings and throughout this season, I became to hate her.
Now I think she doesn't deserve even my hating.

RORY: What re-enactment graduation party?

LORELAI: It’s just a graduation re-enactment party we’re gonna have for all the people who couldn’t go to your actual graduation.

RORY: Re-enactment, how?

LORELAI: All you have to do is throw on that cap and gown again, you know and go up on a little podium again, that someone is gonna build and listen to the high school band play “Pomp and Circumstance”.

RORY: Mom!

LORELAI: What it’s a party, it’s gonna be fun!

RORY: Ah, you own me.

LORELAI: Okay I’ll get you lots of cotton candy and I won’t make fun of you when you scream.
