Well they had it coming after all the crap they sold us over the last year and sending us off now with that bs named series finale formally known as season finale.
If someone had used a calculator a bit sooner there might have been a chance to end the show on a better note.

Unfortunately, some fans don't have anything at all left to enjoy.

Well said. And though I am not particular happy about this I am trying to just enjoy the last few days and the last episode. This is it.. in 5+ days its all over. And I really don't want to spend the last days being bitter about something we can't change. JMO of course.

Ignoring the cynical posts might help WandaRose.

A lot of us feel let down and sad and frustrated and this is the one place to share all that with others who are also feeling like that.

Maybe there is some happy only place for GG fans - if there is, I sure haven't stumbled across it.

Maybe all the Zack-Lane and Paris-Doyle shipper sites are happy (if any at all exist, of course).

Those ships got awesome endings. Unlike the main ships.

Well I love the idea of a boat trip.I could really deal with that end.

"Oh April dumped you?"
"Yea,well she´s young and clever (blaaaa), but if you want, we ...I mean you and me, as in together...could do the boat trip..."
"Really?(Does that mean you really love me?But do I love you?I am not sure, can I have another 7 years of mulling???)
"Really."

The end.

Bravo.Super.I´d like that. And I have to admit, my screwed up bad english writing is almost as bad as DR´s

For people in southern California who got interrupted on Tuesday:

Quote:
KTLA
On Tuesday, May 8, KTLA interrupted episodes of Gilmore Girls and
Veronica Mars in order to bring Los Angeles viewers live breaking news
coverage of the wildfire burning in Griffith Park.

The interrupted episodes will be rebroadcast in their entirety on
Saturday, May 12. The schedule is as follows:

8:00 p.m.: Gilmore Girls
9:00 p.m. Veronica Mars

Wow, well said. I for myself will enjoy the epi. 'cause i think there will be more than the kiss.
The DC is in the beginning so a lot of time to clear the air ( more like make it less dusty).
I do believe there is more, not that i would think: Yeah great series finale but something like: Finaly they got it.

After all it's a series finale that should be a season finale.

She doesn't know he overheard what she said to Patty and Babetter (and yes, I agree that was a badly written and directed scene, but it's what it is).

All she knows is that she made an embarassing, drunken display pouring out feelings she may not have even been ready to deal with to a man who has given no inidcation that he wants any more to be her friend and bantering partner again, and that the next time she saw him he practically shoved her out of his diner with coffee to go and a muffin and donut he practically threw at her. I don't blame her for being cautious and trying to be all "whatever, dude" about it.

Now that I've made my peace with the fact that we're not going to get a true L/L reconciliation until (almost) the end of the episode, I'm kind of enjoying all the hijinks and misunderstandings. At least we know there will a (IMHO) good payoff.

I just really hope that all the specs are right and that L/L will take the boat trip together this summer. That would even be a good way of showing us that they'll have lots of time alone to talk and really work through things (along with . . . you know . . .all the other stuff they'd be doing on the boat )
great post I couldn't agree more.

And WandaRose, sometimes it does seem hard for us "glass is half full" people. When it gets too negative in here I leave for a while. (I have noticed that certain times of day are more negative than others)

I'll tell you what else helps: The Pilot just came on over here (Denmark) - 5 mins in and I feel better already

There is so much more to this show than the love lives of these two independent women. This story was originally founded on a mother and daughter bond that could never be duplicated. 7 years ago we were introduced to their whacky ways and the crazy town they were from and in a few days time that will all be over. Stars Hollow and everything it brought us will cease to exist. This will be the last time we see the townspeople banning together to show their love and devotion to their shining star, Rory. It's the last time we'll see Rory and Lorelai sharing wonderful mother-daughter/best friends moments together. It's the last time we'll see Lorelai glowing with pride because of her amazing kid. It's the last time we'll hear their wit and sarcasm. It's the last time we'll see Emily and Richard be Emily and Richard. It's the last time we'll see Kirk and his insane antics. It's the last time we'll see Michel with his thick, crazy accent. It's the last time we'll see Sookie being the crazy chef and best friend that she is. It's the last time we'll get to see the town gossips be town gossips. We get to see Rory go out on the grand adventure we always knew she was capable of going on.

There is so much to say goodbye to. So much we'll never get to experience again. I don't understand dwelling on a few rough bumps in a long line of fabulous stories.

watching the DC i think the sophies are finally right about Lorelai the woman just needs rory a bit to much and in a not healthy way

she is emtionally gone about luke which is pitiful and last week when she didn't know if she had or old or new feelings um weren't we drained all year with she still has feelings with him - LG purely phoned it - Lorelai has lost it and I agree she needs to get her head out of her *** and just these writers are so insane and I do think personally Lorelai is destroyed the character for me is gone - she has turned finally into a crabby, veiled woman who was a great character into a bitchy afraid woman all because of a grand gesture she will turn to him - but yet again in the last episode ever we have Lorelai saying she is over him - how does that make eveyrone feel - me not so good

i can barely watch the reruns from s1-4

She mistook nostalgia for love then, so I understand her wanting to make sure that she doesn't do that with Luke.

Anvils, I didn't love it either. I just understand Lorelai's sentiments that nothing will change. We know she still has feelings for Luke. That was obvious even in the DC. Because if she didn't, she wouldn't complain about Luke not expressing his feelings. She just would've told Rory that she was wrong, and she mistook nostalgia for love. JMO
you have gotten that lorelai is head over heels in love with luke - ok I don't see that at all - I see a woman especially from last week's ep and the dc so over him yet she has still some feelings for him through the song, I don't think she has been in love with him honestly since she found out about april - lorelai has closed her self off so much that nothing could get through

I agree that Lorelai doesn't know any of that stuff. In her mind, she has done everything to get just the friendship back. She had a lapse with the song and his response was to throw a Luke's bad in front of her and walk off. To me it shows that he is that very same man that kept 'everything April' away from her.
I'd be tired of trying also. Time to be happy with just that friendship and move on. I will never understand the Luke is the perfect man thing. Neither one of them is perfect and they are so in love nothing is going to stop the momentum that has been set in motion.
