Is Lorelai in those diner scenes? Didn't we have conflicting information about where the townies complain/hold a meeting about not being invivted to Rory's graduation? Could be wrong, but I seem to remember seeing that that happened in the diner and also that there was a town meeting at Miss Patty's?

Do we have any other proof of LL scenes in 721, other than where Luke overhears her talking about the song?

Well Lauren was filming that night, so I'd say yes. It was the same day they filmed the Lorelai/Sookie scene at Weston's Bakery.

So, it looks like Lorelai is driving the Dragonfly SUV while the Jeep is getting fixed. Oh and Rory's dream in the teaser was weird. Interesting, but weird, lol

Anything is possible. According to the spoiler, Lorelai is embarrassed about her karaoke serenade to Luke the night before, so probably, it's early in the episode. Maybe there's one more scene at the very end of 7.21? Someone noticed in the WB Tour description, that There was filming in the gazebo around what I think is ep. 21. There was a scene inside it, but the gazebo was covered in a tent for a few days to hide whatever was being done in there. The guides had no idea was it was.

Teaser:

Rory has a freaky dream. She’s in her Chilton uniform. Her old teacher is there. Headmaster Charleton comes in and kicks her out. She walks out and she’s in the Crapshack. Lorelai is getting ready to leave. She says she needs a break and evades rory’s questions. She goes into the other room and Paris/Doyle and 2 little kids are having a meal. Doyle is apparently the editor of the Washington Post. They can see Rory and ask her why she’s there. She says its her house. Paris explains that its not her house that they bought it but she’s welcome anytime. Doyle offers her some cash. Paris gives her bag and tells her not to forget her poker and to get cracking. Rory wakes up and looks all sullen.

Part 1-

Friday night dinner. Rory and Lorelai with the grandparents. Richard is all well. He goes on about how good he feels. They quiz rory on life. They tell her about an apartment they purchased in ny city that rory could use. She tells them she probably won’t move there cause she didn’t get the job. Emily is upset. She rants about how all these idiots get jobs there while the quality people are surpassed. She never told Lorelai, so her mother is just as shocked by this news.

Loreali walks into the diner (Scene from DC)

Rory goes home. Paris is having a party with all these people who got into med school. She talks about some folks she thinks won’t make it through the first year. Rory goes into her room and calls the projo to beg for the job she rejected. They inturn reject her cause they already gave the job to someone else.

Part 2

Sookie in the kitchen cooking. Lorelai walks in. Sookie asks her taste a meatball. LoLane with the twins. She is putting one of them down to rest. She loreali refuses cause its breakfast time. Lorelai tells Sookie that Luke is wearing the blue hat. She talks about how she doesn’t want to leave his hat gesture unacknowledged. She quietly clothes the door and then does a silent happy dance. Zach walks in with grocery and asked if the kids were down. She said they were. They put the grocery away and do the family banter. Lane complains about Zach buying name brand items. He tells her about a band that wants him to be a lead guitarist. They want him to join him on the summer tour. They are cool with lane and the kids coming. Lane seems happy .He continues to tell her the details. Lane says she is proud of him and they share a sweet peck. (okay I know I am supposed to hate them but they are so cute)

Lorelai drives up to crap-hack in that blue SUV. She calls rory’s name. She finds rory buried under the covers. Rory says she tanked her final. She pulls the same crap she did in season 5. She says she doesn’t know what the point is cause she didn’t get the NYT gig. Lorelai goes on about how great Rory is. She talks about how she expected to get the NYT job. She babbles about smoozing with people and buying a new suit. Lorelai and Rory bond some more.

Part 3

Lane and Brian. Lane is changing diapers. Brian thinks he is gonna come. Brian helps her change the babies diapers. She changes the wrong babies diapers. Its actually the other kid. Brian goes on about how Lane may end up replacing the drummer cause the current one is a lush. He goes on about how her mom could help with the twins. Lane makes a sadface (its killer. Very lorelaiesque)

Rory and Lorelai in the diner. Lorelai gives examples of people who struggled from the beginning. More Lorelai and Rory blabber. Logan calls Rory. Luke joins Loreali. They talk. He asks how rory and she is. Lorelai is all awkward with him. She asks about the boat trip planning. He fills her in on the details. She keeps giving him weird looks. She mentions the karaoke. Luke thinks she invites her and says its not really his thing.Lorelai doesn’t really invite him. He walks off, she looks flabbergasted.

Logan and Rory on the phone. Rory asks when he’s coming back. He says he will be on the redeye that night.

April calls Luke. April gets into camp and she has to cancel the trip because the camp is at the same time. April seems to have wanted to go on the boat trip. The camp is a real big deal. Luke tells her they will do it next summer. She says she will come the last two weeks of the summer to see him. Luke hangs up and is all sad.

Part 4

Miss Patty and Babbette at the karaoke bar. Babbette dedicates the next song to Morey. Its fever. Rory asks Lorelai to get up there to sing. Loreali says she has to be more drunk to do that. Zach and Luke cleaning up the diner. Zach is going on about the summer tour. Luke is sort of depressed. Zach mentions that the diner would have been closed all summer. Luke tells him about the cancellation. He says it sucks. He goes on about how much it sucks. Luke says its okay. Lane comes in. She is happy to be going out. He tells lane and says that luke is still processing. They invite him to come. Zach and Lane talk about luke. Lane looks sad and he asks whats wrong. She says that she can’t with two babies. She goes on about how hard it is in SH. She apologizes. Zach says he won’t go. Lane insists that she go. She says its only 2 months. Kirk songs “Do you really want to hurt me”

(Its scary) Rory asks Lorelai how she is doing. Loreali says she’s drunk cause she thinks kirk sounds good. Lane and Zach arrive. Lorelai says she is a little tipsy. Zach makes a boy george joke. Lane and Rory talk. Zach offers to get the girls a drink. Rory talks about losing the NYT. She’s calm now. Lane tells Rory about Zach going on tour. Lorelai hits the stage. She dedicates this to Rory. Its comedic and the dolly parton version. Luke walks in. Lorelai looks at Luke. She suddenly gets serious. Luke watches in interest. She is looking right at Luke. Luke smiles. He gets teary. It’s a moment (Yes !!!!!!!!)

Part 5

Lorelai wakes up. Rory is up and offers her coffee. Rory seems to be in a better mood. Lorelai is hung-over. Zach and Luke in the diner. They go on about a Mexican dish that’s a hit. Zach mentions Lorelai song. Luke gets a little weird when he mentions the song. Luke is smiling. Zach finds the hat. Apparently it was wedged between the dishwasher and the fridge. Lorelai is watching an old movie. Logan is at the door. Logan goes on about this job he was offered. She says he doesn’t have to convince her. She’s cool with him. The job means moving to San Francisco. He says he loves Rory and that he wants her to come with him but not just as his girlfriend. He is asking lorelai’s permission to marry Rory. Lorelai makes a Whoah! Face and Sadface rolled into one. FADE TO BLACK
