| I don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but I was struck yesterday as I watched the episode over again, they kept using the phrase "getting over the hump." Was this an intentional play on words? | I love that new description for 7.22  I love love love how they worded it: Luke and Lorelai have breakfast with Rory... Yay for Tuesdays!!  Karaoke time tonight!! I'm so excited that Lorelai's as excited as we are about Luke's blue hat  And I think her not-so-subtle karaoke is such a typical Lorelai reaction. I actually kind of like that she goes overboard like that and gets embarrassed by it later... I'm just excited that she's going after him. | I was kind of wondering about Lorelai's karaoke denial having to do with Luke's hat confessions as well. I mean, think about it. She thinks that Luke wearing the blue hat is a big huge sign that he's okay with her again.still has feelings for her, so she pours her little heart out over Karaoke and then she finds out that he just lost the black hat, so he started wearing the blue one again. Of course she'd deny that the song was directed towards him. This is Lorelai we're talking about. As for her being, was it surprised? by how she was feeling. I would imagine that she knew she still had feelings for him, but maybe she was a little surprised by how strong they still were? __________________ | |||
