| I'm hoping we get at least a short scene where Luke talks about how he's reacting/feeling to this new friendship, whatever, with Lorelai. Sadly, I think it will have to be with Liz and/or TJ (sigh) - I think they probably make an appearance before the end of the season/series. I can't recall if I saw them listed in an upcoming episode. We keep hearing Lorelai's point of view about the whole thing - and we see Luke reacting, but I'd love even just a few sentences from him to someone - maybe it could happen after he overhears her about the song not meaning anything and he winds up talking to Liz about it and that he's feeling confused, blah blah blah... | |||

I do however hope that the (well intended) meddling, annoying (yet often amusing) jabs at LL's so called less than "apropriate" lifestyle and witty exchanges in general, don't all together disappear. The ugly, condescending remarks to and about Luke need to be banished, and I believe already have, but the rest needs to stay, otherwise it will be a bore to watch, IMO. Quote:

| We don't know exactly when it is that the kiss takes place do we? I'm still hoping it is when Lorelai first sees what Luke has done so that they are "buzzing" a little internally while the party begins and goes on....then, they can talk after - maybe at the diner, maybe in the gazebo when the party is over. That's my hope. | |||

| Given that we have info that says they reach a "new understanding" what I'm thinking is that she is swept away by what he did, grabs him, kisses him and before they can talk she's off - maybe to get Rory or whatever. So, during the party, they are both maybe looking at each other and each wondering what it all means and near the end, that is when they talk and get to this "new understanding" -- at least, that's the way I hope it plays out. I think it would be fun to see them for a lot of the episode reacting in their ways to the kiss. | |||

| Since we didn't get a dirty or a jeez this season do you guys think they'll save it for the finale and when Luke and Lorelai kiss ? I mean that would be too funny  They kiss, everyone sees it and Luke makes a comment, she says dirty and Luke comes back with the eye roll and jeez  __________________ “I don’t get it.” - “I know.
