Thanks for the new thread!

The encore thing is interesting. It might just be for ratings. 7H will be gone by then, and they'll want to put something there for a week during May sweeps, and a repeat of GG is sure to get higher ratings than a repeat of 7H. They already repeat ANTM and PCD, why not GG, too?

As for the idea of it being a failsafe incase they announce on the 17th that GG isn't coming back, well, I don't really want to think about that idea. We'll still know what happened, rewatching it as a series finale won't make any difference, IMO.

This is completely OT, but I just realized that Jenna Fischer from The Office is Sean Gunn's sister in law. Random, I know, but I found that interesting.

Thanks for the thread, Mots.

Is anyone going to do a transcript of the podcast? For some reason I'm having trouble getting it. I would greatly appreciate it.

Where are my manners? Thanks for the new thread and all the new information. I have been playing catch up for so long that I don't realize I am reading a new thread.

Someone's probably already mentioned this that the reason they're encoring it in the timeslot is because 7th Heaven ends the week before, so the slot is vacant for the final Sunday of Sweeps.

Thanks for the new thread.

I think re-airing the finale is a huge vote of confidence by the CW. Don't forget, they brought GG back from hiatus a week later then originally planned, (April 17th, instead of the 10th), so they could have more original GG episodes during May sweeps. The CW is expecting great ratings for the finale, and since the 20th is still part of sweeps, they want to milk it. They could have gone with alot of other shows, but they chose to re-air GG. It's proof of how highly the CW thinks of the show.

Well that was also due to the case that CW changed their hiatus schedule and pushed 7.17 up to air as the lead-in to The Pussycat Dolls premiere on March 6. Originally it was supposed to air in April but got pushed forward. They had always intended to end the show the week it's in ending now, which is when most of their shows are ending.

Um, watching Skinner play Kersh's boss on GA last night was sooo backwards.

On Topic: I'm really excited about this LL boat trip that we've dreamed up. Someone tell DR.

Hee. That got to me, too. Plus just seeing Skinner like that was odd, no matter how many times he ended up in a hospital on XF, he never quite had the issue he had last night.

Right, on topic's good. I'd love to have LL go out on the boat, or even just spend the summer together, happy, and just figuring things out back in SH.

Hell it was as if it was something out of the XF - kind of reminded me of the episode Ice

Kind of related to LL, but not really.

Today I was discussing classic movies with a guy who said he was a classic movies fan. He asked me what my favorite classic was. I said The Philadelphia Story. He turned to me, scoffed, and said "A movie from 1994 with Tom Hanks is not a classic."

I sighed, shook my head, and decided on the spot he wasn't much of a classic movie fan at all.

Granted, I would say that Philadelphia would be considered one of the newer classics in movie history. So he's wrong on both counts anyway, lol.

Heh, that's so true. It took me a whole season of GA to stop calling the Chief Kersh while we were watching. I kept expecting him to double cross someone.

I asked for TPS for Christmas and my dad came back from Best Buy asking why I wanted a depressing Tom Hanks movie.
