Ah MA can eat my shorts. It's always the same. On the podcast he says I'll answer the question on the vodcast. In the vodcast he says check out AA and when we finally get there either nothing or snarky comments or oh they still don't know and need more time to make the decision

My next aim is Karaoke Night The Return of the Famous Blue Luke and Lorelai back in Action

How nice, only 10 pages to catch up!

I thought about the "horn talk" scene between Lorelai and Luke. When Luke asks her Fine you want a horn, I'll get you a horn. Are you happy?, she nods. But her face says more than words: Lorelai is happy not because of the funny talk, she is just happy. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's my opinion.

That talk should have had at least 2 dirties in there

Well Lorelai just got her best friend back and that's something she never expected to happen after all the stuff they put each other through. I love how she bounces up and down and the smile finally reaches her eyes again.

I thought the teaser dress was nice, no wonder Jackson chased after her like a little school boy LOL

Just a pity we probably won't get any more studio pics and time soon, I only one I want now if L&L kissing, I hope it comes out before the final, to promote it.

OT - wet day here, which is good the country needs it. Guess it's a DVD day today, I hope we see L&L have a movie night, maybe mock the PCD next season

Hopefully she's get it, in 8.01

I hope they are divorced and the lawyers just sent the papers, please God let the be divorced!
I wonder if the status of L/C's divorce is ever going to be mentioned. I hope so. I don't think L/L would come to "a new understanding" if they weren't already divorced.

I've been so down on Lorelai since last year I thought I'd never find her appealing at all again but I gotta say, her "I want a horn!" and her smile when Luke asks if she's happy is incredibly cute...especially the "I want a horn!" -- like old Lorelai once again.

Since the only C/L scenes I watched this year was the break up episode, I can't say this for sure, but I just don't think I've ever seen or heard about a scene where she is that cute and just plain happy as she is in that one few second scene with Luke.

I think the divorce will have been dealt with off screen by their lawyers, Lorelai would have not taken a cent from Chris (even if IMO she should) and Chris would have given the flat screen to here. The fact it was a short marriage and they left in agreement would mean a judge would grant the divorce but don't they usually require both parties to show up to at least one hearing in front of the judge?

Anyone here have any legal experience to help us out.

No that reality has much to do with this SL!

Very cute. The smile in the car lot is nice too. (Those of you who watch clips at work have totally gotten me into watching LL scenes on mute.) clmorrow, you've commented a lot on the writing for Luke this season. I thought the U-boat line from the DC was pretty close to an old-school line and delivery. (Not super clever, but a logical reply to Lorelai.)

I'm just assuming the use of "separation" in the episode descriptions means that we haven't missed any CL meetings since 7.14. Not anything meaningful, either way, about divorce proceedings. I'm with mary, though. They better not spend 15 minutes on "just friends" with Chris to contrast 2 minutes on "not just friends" with Luke. Get the proportions right, people!

It's interesting to compare Lauren Graham's acting in "Farewell My Pet" and in the last episode. I think, although Christopher wasn't my favorite character on GG, I appreciate DS's acting and their cooperation as actors in the "Farewell" scenes. Graham's play in "Farewell" expressed all the feelings very genuine (pathetic, but "heavy" as well), now her play is "light" to express all the comedy aspects and to show how different the relationship to Luke is compared it to the with Christopher. She's just a good actress and deserves more.

I thought the scene in the car sales lot where Luke caught her smiling when he was ranting about her not cleaning out her bag was so cute and the way she was just looking at him.

I am so happy about this past week's episode. I am just blocking out the return of "him" and hope it will be so short... if I blink he'd be gone. But alas that won't happen, I am just focusing on 722... huge party, L/L understanding and kiss. Townies and Emily and Richard at a SH event.

OT - WTF is happening in the world cup!

also while OT - prince Harry asked his dad for advice, which may have lead to the break up with his girlfriend. So I guess if it's okay for a price it's okay for Rory?

Back on topic, this summer L&L have a LOT of making up to do and they can comfort each other with not having their daughters around. Will we see half naked L&L in the kitchen making breakfast

They could just have a scene like when Luke was divorcing Nicole and he signed the papers -- nothing big and showy, but still meaningful
