Thank you .
Don't worry. I'm not gonna tell you. It's bad enough to think about it

Danish television is scary. I'm almost afraid to watch anything either channel 4 or 5 'cause they might just air something from GG. This afternoon it was Luke visiting Anna in S6 I stumpled upon.

ETA: Oops for the double posting. My bad.

Christopher being in the episode has absolutely nothing to do with how and why Luke gets "hurt."
Define 'absolutely nothing'

Because where I come from, there's a distinct correlation between the episodes that Chris is in, and when Luke gets hurt somehow.

Chris just brings trouble for Luke, whether directly or indirectly. That's why we really need DS out of the show.

Chris may not directly affect Luke in 7.21, but Chris's existance spells bad news for Luke, all the time.

I can't say it any better than that

I would rather see Chris strung up in a tree in a cocoon while Luke is making out with Lorelai in room number 7 but with DSR we probably would see the other way around DSR has also got to go

Oh, for god's sake. Luke is "hurt" because he overhears Lorelai deny that her song meant anything. This has nothing to do with Christopher; it has everything to do with L/L and their remaining insecurities about each other.

Believe it or not, there are some viewers (some of them are even--gasp!--L/L fans) who do not think that Christopher's appearance in this episode is a reason to raise the Terror Alert Level to red. Chris is not the evil black yin to Luke's holy white yang, eveything "good" between C/L doesn't automatically mean something "bad" for L/L (especially at this point in the game), and TPTB do not, in fact, plot out their episodes for the sole purpose of screwing with a small-yet-vocal portion of the fanbase.

WE know that. I'm just commenting on how the unspoiled could read that description and think there is no hope for L/L reuniting. I have to wonder about the collective IQ score of the PR dept or whoever thinks of those blurbs.

eta: Thanks for setting us straight Cine.

I have to wonder about the collective IQ score in the writers room.

Dude! I know. Sigh.. Having both the last part of S6 and the beginning of S7 running at the same time. Wrong on so many levels!

I am extremely excited about to night! Like.. really really looking forward to it. I just had to watch the DC again. CUTE! I love SP and LG.

The whole PR department needs to look at what they are trying to sell. They are not doing a very good job thats for sure.

I think the whole purpose of the 'hurt' is to bring the story to a head. I think it's going to bring on an L&L confrontation and it's going to be good. L&L at their best.

ITA. I think it could actually be a whole lot of fun to watch them work through the impasse.

That's what I am worried about, too. A lot of people decide what they are going to watch on TV according to the TV Guide descriptions. That may keep a lot of L/L non spoiled shippers away.

I just looked at the clock. I have a meeting at work in 45 min. and I'm still in my pj's. Gotta go.

Oh, stop with the blaming of the writers -- unless, of course, you (collectively) can go out, get an agent, and land a job on a high profile television series and write something better. Simply because you (again collectively) don't like the outcome of a script does not mean the person who wrote it is some idiot. They are doing a job. And, believe it or not, the job of the writers on the Gilmore staff was to write a story, one involving a marriage, about Lorelai and Christopher. It may not be to everyone's liking, but it also doesn't mean it's garbage. Give them some credit. Most here couldn't write 20 pages of a script, let alone the 70+ pages it takes to write a Gilmore script.
