Thx Katie for all the info you were able to get for us! I hope that your tour guide is wrong and that we do get a S8 and the sets aren't gone forever in a week

Im sorry but i cant get this out of my mind.....its rant time...

How could this show end without LL married. They were together and engaged for 2 yrs and yet we wont get to see there vows? No matter what i have thought of GG and DR and what has been happening on the show i never thought this show would end with LL not being married. It never ever crossed my mind. To me it was destined. They teased us with the engagement, showed us LL kissing with lorelai in her wedding dress etc... now its time for us to really see these 2 commit ot one another forever, we need to see there wedding. I need to see them say I do. They can have LL kiss as much as they want in the next couple epi's but i still wont be satifsfied. We deserve to see LL married in the end. Commited to each other. I cant bare to think that in all 7 yrs of GG the only marriage we seeof Lorelai's was her marriage to Chris. The one thing that we thought would never happen, might be the only Lorelai marriage we see. Sad... huh?

What if LL are married by 7.22? Maybe they.. eh.. elope at the end of 7.21 or something. That'd be something no one was expecting. Could be why Lorelai tells Luke "they" have to cancel the party. Maybe they planned it as a couple.

Imagine that being the only time you see Lorelai married. Its just so sad to think about how the only marriage of Lorelais we might see is the one with the one person we always though she'd never ever marry.

First things first.
We've seen everything over the years.... Funerals, christening, giving a birth, Luke as a married man, Lorelai as a married woman, even Lorelai cheating on Luke... But we didn't see any of their marriage ceremonies. I think, it was for a reason!

Does anyone here watch the BBC-Ireland series Ballykissangel? They spent three seasons building the romance between the priest and the fiesty manger of the local pub--a "journey" that includes her marrying an old flame. What happens in the final episode of the third season?

Just as they've declared their love and decided to be together (he's going to leave the priesthood), she gets electrocuted and dies (in a really traumatic scene about whether he'll give her the last rites, since she was vocally anti-church) and he ends up leaving the town all alone.

Moral of the story? It could always be worse. Much worse.

We won't see them really committed. They won't marry, Rory will never be Luke's stepdaughter and Lorelai will never get to know April.

Christopher wasn't just the one person we thought would never marry Lorelai, he's the man who least deserved to marry her - that is, to marry the woman she used to be. Before she sunk to his level.

You're right, Stephrox. It's very sad. That was a good rant. Guess we'd better make them good. I kind of feel like ranting's all we have left.

Wow thanks Katie sounds like you had a great time, I think most of the bits are new.

Love how the townies want to go but realistically that would never happen, maybe L&L were planning to through a private party for Rory but the town wanted a big party?

I'll have to read it again to get all the details...

true but there are only 5 epis left. They prob wont reunite till 7.20/7.21. How can we see these 2 really commit to each other in 2 eps. They can make up and say they want ot fix things and try to be together again but i want ot see Lorelai in a comited marriage to the one man she was supose to marry from day one. LUKE.

Because they can decide to be. And because they love each other. It's not like they don't know each other really well already. Once they decide that they love each other, I think they'll be "all in" right away.
