Well, until the network/studio officially announces the end, I can understand why people who are quoting sources are saying "I think" - they are covering their butts - they can't say they know for certain or they will lose any credibility they may have if for some reason the show is renewed - which I highly doubt.

I just SP gets himself a good, fun new gig in time - I really don't want to see him on a crime procedural though - something with some humor in it because he's good at both drama and humor.

Despite this depressing "per haps that is the end" info I myself will wait until the official announcement.

Something else popped in my mind regarding the "Bon Voyage"-spoiler:
Wasn`t there the information about Luke and April taking a trip over the summer? Perhaps the title is about them, too? Luke has recently bought a boat..so?

I'm not giving up yet on season 8. I can't.

AB is just being stupid to think that one more year of GG would tie her down from bigger and better things. She's young, one more year won't hurt her. Plus she's done other movies under the load of ASP, it would be that much easier on her under DSR since he isn't as perfectionistic. YMMV

And if for some reason the reports are true, then all I have to say is these last 5 episodes better be damn good in all respects.

There is no way that Rory takes off with just a phone call to Lorelai... that would totally set up for some kind of AHIAH type thing IMO. Rory doing her own thing without Lorelai's input or whatever.

Anyways, thanks for the new thread. I hope we get a good promo tonight

We don't really know AB's reasons for refusing, but I would think that it has more to do with her just being tired of this grind and doing this part, than of wanting to do more movies.

Thanks for the support guys and the latest sad news, I don't know which to believe any more. I'll still keep the site updated daily just not every 5 minutes LOL, someone else may have to do the TS for the DCC when they come out though I'll still do the ep ones but not till the weekends. But with whats looking like only 5 eps to go I think we'll make it through.

Man, I feel like I have been kicked in the gut, even though I have been trying to prepare for the worse. I know the announcement hasn't come, but we really haven't had any good news on season 8. Wish they would just tell us and not toy with the fans.

It is hard to stay optomistic, when even the diehard there is going to be a season 8 people are starting wo wane....

About LG/SP as long as they can pull it off on the show, their personal lives are their own, and who they like and don't like is none of our buisness!
