I just wish they would come out and say it. They should be pimping that fact that its the end of the show. Get some of the viewers in they lost over the years. Plus.. it totally influences the way I will go in to the last episodes. It shouldn't.... but it will.

But see people area curious because they don't what is going to happen. Is it a series or season finale. They talk about it and they watch it - could be the last episodes so better not miss them you know. If people know there's going to be another season they might watch the rest of this one or just the finale so they know what to expect for the next. But some might just come back next year because they think LL are back on track and we'll see the middle.

I would say it depends on how long they are going. Didn't Luke talk about trips ? So they could go for a weekend or something and I see Lorelai going with them of course. If they are gone the whole summer I don't really think she can stay away from the Inn that long.
