I have no idea how this will play out - I know what I want to see - I want Luke to bring up the divorce and then it slowly can be talked about - and I want Lorelai to apologize first for how she reacted and what she did and i want Luke to come and say you know how i treated you about April (at this point we don't even know if he feels badly about how he treated her..........this was never answered in my opinion) so its up in the air imo- i don't expect anything great - i do expect sorry me to thing if we get more I will be bouncing off the walls, the fan fics I have read are great

that deal with this
and from all the previous seasons when they just talk no histronics nothing it is really good of course that was years ago

It seems odd that they would have such a personal conversation in front of April, doesn't it? Boy, Luke sure has changed.

Maybe Lorelai, Luke and April go through the maze and Lorelai says something like "Boy, if you would have let the three of us do things like this last year we'd be married with a baby on the way by now, you jerk!" LOL

this will be done in front of april - now that is just so wrong - she is the freaking cause of this - she doesn't need to hear a word about it

If they meet spontaneously in the maze what prompts the apologies? I'm very curious to how this scene will play out!

I doubt that April is actually present during their talk. She's probably off navigating the maze using wind speed or the angle of the sun/stars or something.

perhaps the WHOLE streets in the town are integarted in the maze? have we any information how big the maze is? perhaps they are both looking for her way to the DFI or the Diner and then ..boom.. they ran into each other in a blind alley?

I find it annoying that they made April so smart, like how Rory was portrayed as a child. Can't there be one kid on the show that isn't a child prodigy? Just one kid with a b average, maybe?

Well maybe Lorelai is with Rory and Logan and April is with Luke. April and boy that Logan is chasing after hit it off, Luke tells April she can head on out with Logan, Rory, and boy. Luke and Lorelai meander through the maze together.

ETA: Actually I could see the conversation going on like "Hey." "Hey." "You're here with April?" "Yeah...Spring break." "Oh, nice." "Yeah, it is. Rory's here?" "Yeah, she brought Logan home." "Oh, fun." "Yeah." *awkward silence* "Okay, this is crazy. Luke - can we talk?" "Talk? What about?" "About... everything. About... that awful,awful night. About the stupid ultimatum." "Lorelai, we don't have..." "Yes, Luke, we do. Or I do. I really, really do. So can we.. please?" "Yeah, sure. Okay."

And then they continue to talk..

How about this:

Luke goes in the maze with April
Logan goes in with the boy
Rory forces Lorelai into the maze to help her find Logan
Everyone gets separated
L/L literally run into each other
Awkward moment
They casually start talking and then everything comes out, all at once
Luke invites her back to the diner

I like that beginning convo! I'd love for Lorelai to initiate it.

Also, I'd like seeing April & Rory hang--whatever the circumstances. Take any glimpses into the future family...

I could see the talk going like that Mots.
They don't talk and they feel awkward until one says "Okay this is stupid." "What is?" "Us not being able to form more than one sentence" "That IS stupid" "I'm sorry", "For what?" and they continue apologizing.

We had pictures of the maze and it's huge. The streets are blocked and I hope we'll get a Luke rant because of that
