Isn't there meant to be a town meeting in HBM, want a Luke rant at the meeting, he can lead the townies, maybe Lorelai is there and they just say hello to nod at each other across the room. But yeah a rant and Lorelai watching would be nice

OT - I just caught the fire in LA on TV, guess they are lucky there is no shooting on the SH set today.

For Luke and Lorelai both to be separated from which ever parties brought them into the maze and to end up in a confined space alone together seems like a possible townie conspiracy. Or perhaps one on them gives up and sits on the bench and the other one comes along and decides to sit and clear the air.

Earlier in the thread, I believe CineFille mentioned something about DR not promising us a middle, no he did not but he could have given us a decent beginning. Also that Luke and Lorelai were not ever going to get together until the last few episodes- true. That may be so but he didn't have to fill the season with so much CRAP. The Christopher sl did not work and he knew from the start that it wouldn't . He had the feedback from the critics, from the upfronts and from the fans that they hated it and it was never going to work. All the other sl's suffered because it took so much screen time to try and sell this Christopher crappy sl that no one wanted and no one believed. He could have veered off after the 'original' 7th episode and made the A Christoper sl about Rory. DR even had to assure the L/L fans that it was just part of Lorelai's journey because they were bailing on the show left, right and centre.

It becomes a hollow victory when the end game is more like the end of a bad story than the culmination of an intricate romantic plot the brings the heroine and the hero together in a passionate embrace.

Isn't she supposedly a devout Roman Catholic? And the two do not get along...(PP and Cath Church.) The US Conference of Bishops has instructed all dioceses to tell the faithful to NOT support the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation because they give money to Planned Parenthood...because in many rural locations, PP is the only low cost healthcare place available...

I don't know and really don't care. I do know Lauren is a big supporter Breast Cancer research because of her mother.

It will be interesting to see how they promo the last 5 eps and will they do a TV Guide story about Rory break up like the did with Paris and the elopement.

Also with all the reports from USC we still have nothing one Luke, Chris or Lorelai in that little hot pink number!

Sounds good, I hope we get more that 2 minutes, maybe it fades out and they continue talking, I don't mind that as long as they talk.

I believe the smoke did make it into the WB lot. It was practically around the corner as far as how they mentioned it on the news here.

That's what they said on our news. Since we're in LA they had it live for a long time this afternoon, as they do often with fires. This is what was published on our news's website earlier in an article about the fires:

IMO they shot those scenes earlier in the week, but I have a question, the graduation pic's we got from Heidi at GG.org where were the parents? Was this just something for the graduates or was this the full ceremony?

So maybe (if they are filming scenes of the graduation on the lot as well) they are getting smoked out?!
And what happened, why is there such a big fire? What's burning?

So Logan and Lorelai talk. I wonder if that's before or after she says he's not mature enough for Rory. If he tells her the same things he told Chris back then I guess she won't be happy
