Yeah they did a change of writer at the last minute.

ETA: That info should be correct the last time I checked (of course now that I've put that you watch his name pop up on the writing credits for 7.18 after all) - I'm currently doped up on cough mixture so I'll look at this in the morning and go oh man.

I am now even more optmistic about L/L's meeting in the maze. I think RRK really "gets" Luke and Lorelai.

OT - I'm enjoying my "combo" I put some iced coffee in my tea instead of milk and it tastes great!

back on topic - RRK should be great, I just hope we have more than one meeting, but I'll take anything right now, any guesses as to where in the maze they meet?

How about this one? Luke and Lorelai are the last to go through the maze. Luke because he didn’t really want to participate and Lorelai because she was busy making sure that the bus load of DFI guests were enjoying themselves.

As Lorelai is about to go through the maze she sees Luke idly hanging around waiting for April to return. She awkwardly encourages him to go through with her. As they are walking through the maze, Lorelai nervously and accidentally stumbles into Luke and says, “I’m sorry”. Luke replies back with, “I’m sorry”. Lorelai says, “No, I’m sorry”.

Before you know it, their I’m sorrys take on a doubled edge meaning that blossoms into them apologizing for the things that lead to their breakup.

Gazebo? Because of both of them looking for an exit from the maze.....

I could see their talk start with them talking about April. Lorelai aks how it's going with them and all of that. Luke thanks her again for her great letter and all of that. Lorelai responds that she knows how much April means to him and then Lorelai could say something about how she felt like April was more important than her last year. Or Luke could say something like that April helped him a lot through the last year. She gave him something to focus on when the rest of his life wasn't going so well. And then starts the apologies and all of that.

Maybe but the Gazebo was moved, either by Taylor or because of shooting so I don't know if it will be seen in the maze.

But seriously - I don't think gazebo is the place where Lorelai and Luke meet. They need their "hidey-hole" at this moment.....
