Oh and one last thing: I know Lauren can sing, I heard it (thanks again), but I will always love you? One of the most difficult songs ever, cause Whitney Houston sang it so incredible?! I can't see it happen, or happen in a good way.

I don`t think that "I will always lave you" is a bad song by DR to choose. Everybody thinks it is a love song (which btw it isn`t , there you are right) and so the feelings when you only hear the song without listening to the lyrics is a nice one. So why not for LL?

And there is always the possibility that Lorelai means it the way you explained it because she thinks that there is no chance for them anymore but Luke shows her that she she has no resaon to think this way...THAT would be nice, don`t you think?

Otherwise she might sind it to Kirk anyway

Good point. I was too focused on the great title and not the content of the song. Guess, I'll wait to make final decision about the choice of song until we learn/see how it´s used.

I will stick with a kiss at the end of 7.19 after the fight, then they are both confused and don't know if they are back together or not. They go to this party/whatever and Lorelai sings "I will always love you" while Luke is listening and when she finishes, she and Luke speak and after they resume the make out!

Pure SPEC my friends or wishful thinking.

Exactly, and Lauren's voice is alto and this song definitely requires a soprano voice, that's why I can't see her singing this song seriously.

Fernando was way better.

Maybe Miss Patty picks the songs and Lorelai doesn't know it until it's time to go on stage. I so hope she'll mock it. I've heard too many people trying to sing this song in my life.

I'm voting for the LL kiss in 7.20.
