I'm so glad you all like my town wedding idea a-la Fandango!

It'd be the perfect wedding for the 2 of them and it would leave us with good memories.

Sure as hell I'd like a S8 more - we could get a winter town wedding

- but I sense that we won't get one so my last wish for GG is for it to end with a town wedding takin' the first half of the ep.

The last half should be a little further in the future - even a few weeks - to give us a glimpse of LL life with Rory visiting from NY, April calling and a simple "day in the life of" end for the serie.

I've always thought that a wedding like Liz's would be perfect for LL. Put together quickly, very SH, casual, etc. My favorite LL wedding idea is similar to what elduccia said. I'd love it if LL decide that they want to get married, and set it up really quick in town, call out the townies, get Sookie cooking, get Jess (a girl can dream) and E/R in town, and get married. Not really eloping, but still a really quickly planned wedding.

But all our marriage speculating probably is good for nothing, since we'll never be lucky enough to see it, unless the girls sign.

They finished filming episode 20 on Thursday, started filming episode 21 on Friday. I saw a snippet when I was over on the Lot for Two and a Half Men on Friday (but nothing new that hasn't already been reported before).

A Town wedding would be awesome! Can't you see Babbette, Morey, Ms Patty and a new beau, Taylor, Lulu and Kirk, Liz and TJ, April, E/R, R/L, Lane, the twins and the band, Mrs Kim, Mia, Micheal, Sookie Jackson and the kids, Ceasar, Jess, all there?Everyone who has meant anything to them. (no Chris though) I think they have to use the Chuppah and not the Gazebo, since the episode where the two of them are standing under it. It was sort of a foreshadowing of things to come when I saw that, and have always wanted to see it. I think the wedding should be the end of the series. Not going to happen, but what a great way to end. maybe with about 10 of the future thrown in for good measure! I know a lot to ask, huh?

Thanks for the spoiler. I had no doubts, they are heading us in that direction since the turning point of this season. But I find it interesting, if Lorelai's romantically involvement means a change in Rory's relationship? I've noticed, that usually Lorelai's and Rory's love affairs don't tally at the same time. It's some sort of balance of power: one girl has her "up", the other "down"...

Im really really hope we get an 8th season for the wedding, cause there is no way we'll get one this season. IMO.. as much as i wish we would, i dont think we will!

Hmm... could be parallel to Lorelai agreeing to postponing the wedding but not actually forgiving Luke for lying about April...
