Another topic... An interesting (and long) article on CW's future:
Some GG's mentions:
Quote:
The move toward reality, with a CW programming executive now devoted to scouring the Web and film schools for new ideas, comes as ratings are lagging for its inherited scripted shows, particularly The WB's Smallville and 7th Heaven and UPN's Everybody Hates Chris and Veronica Mars. Its best performer among women, seven-season-old former WB drama Gilmore Girls, could fold this spring.
Quote:
WB had allowed its sibling Warner Bros. TV studio to amass enough episodes of Gilmore Girls and Smallville to collect $80 million in annual sales during the network's final few years—more than enough to offset $30 million-$35 million in yearly losses.
From Broadcasting & Cable.

I think, the differences according the future strategy between WB Studio and CW acting in the own interests can impact the future of the show also....

I think it could. It depends if is in the same episode where Lorelai and Luke talk in the hay maze. Or maybe it's a parallel to the 7.19 fight?

After all when Sookie found out about the baby Lorelai mentioned her baby project too. So it could be

I like that idea. It could even parallel LL in these eps (18, 19). They agree to be friends, but I'm sure there's still stuff under the surface that they'll still be mad about from before.

exactly, I can't imagine that they're really gonna fix everything with one little chat.

Thanks, I like a little fight between S&J, still hope it's Luke that fixes it but I think it might turn out to be Jackson.

I was just thinking about the info from Mots' tour about the dollhouse. It doesn't seem like Jackson breaks the dollhouse while mad. But since her report said that it takes the brunt of someone's anger, would it be possible if someone else, like Lorelai, ends up taking some of her anger out of it after Jackson already broke it?

I still think that Jackson in flailing about while fighting with Sookie would satisfy the 'anger' and the 'Jackson breaks it' idea.

I thnk the reason Lorelai did not want a town wedding is cause she wanted her wedding to be unique. She has been to and planned many town weddings. I think now that she had been married she will realized the wedding is just a day ...
