Sara, you didn't mention whether Christopher would be around the Gilmores during the graduation. Perhaps he doesn't sit with them?

I'd settle for him sitting directly behind them or at the outermost edge of the group. Enough to emphasize that he doesn't belong as one of them, but not enough to suggest that he's unwelcome at the ceremony as part of Rory's bio family.

Thanks for the spoilers tonight, btw

This is somewhat subjective as a spoiler, though it sounds very pleasing as I don't want ANYTHING to happen b/w L/C ever ever again. My question would be, how innocent? I wonder if they're going to do the disgusting lip-pecks or the embracing (yuck) hugs. I hope not. The MOST I would want to see between L/C (physical-wise), is something like that half-hug they had in 6.10, less if Luke's in sight. The scene in 6.10, from Lorelai's/Lauren's acting, signified the attitude I would like Lorelai to have this time. Distant towards him.

And Emily and Richard should be giving him the evil eye every three seconds.

Though I would love if there were answers to my questions at the current time, I know I may not recieve spoiler answers. Sigh. I hope I Know soon.

I'm pretty sure they're all sitting together. But we shouldn't get all paranoid about a seating chart.

It will be very telling where they sit and who chooses, like in 3.22 when Lorelai told E&R to move over one to join the group.

BTW - was thinking it might be Luke - Lorelai - Chris - Emily - Richard that's what I meant.

But maybe Chris on the end next to Richard would be best .

I'm just saying that in this case, it's counter-productive. It's not like last season where the paranoia was warranted.

I honestly don't think it will mean anything. If L/C sit together, it's because they are Rory's parents. That's it.

I agree. They are likely going to sit together. Strictly as Rory's parents. Luke probably will be on Lorelai side, and Chris on the other. With Richard and Emily next to Chris.

Given that is the sides they always play.

Strictly as parents. Nothing more...

It's Rory's graduation. There might be some tense moments. But nothing to worry about.

Any physical contact between Chris and Lorelai will be interesting, they had no problem with the peck on the cheek when engaged to Luke so I can see that happening at graduation also, but that will depend on if L&L are a couple again.

We're still reeling from the past several months (or years...) of being whacked around by the show.

I don't think it'll pass until 7.22 airs and we get a confirmation on season 8.

In "Partings," Chris gave Emily a peck on the cheek too. So it's not just Lorelai.

It's so weird though, because look how long LL were akward near eachother. Though IMO Lorelai was never "in love" with Chris, they were still m..marr... I can't say it, but they broke up . I hope thier interaction is like in WBB, a quick fast talk with Chris and on thier way to celebrate the event. Though I hate thinking of Chris being mature, I do think he will be at the graduation and not really cause any drama of some sort, just a bit of akwardness but that's all I can see thier being.

And, Thanks for the info Sara!

Sometimes those tense moments are entertaining. Or is that only with my sister's multiple parents/step parents. The parents table at her wedding was beyond tense. There were two parents, 3 step parents, a step parent's girlfriend and her new in-laws. Now that is a tense family situation. lol.

JMO!
I don't doubt that she had a Master Plan but that plan wasn't welcomed by everyone and that's where she raised hackles. In the end she didn't get what she asked for and after Partings I'm not surprised about that and who might have had a saying in what's going to happen next or who is on board for more than one season. Amy dug her own grave and I'm not even sorry about it.
