Yeah it's a given Luke's there. I mean why not ? He was always in their lives - individually and when they entered the diner together. Luke just HAS to be there.

I don't get where the problem is

Being there as Lorelai's date or not doesn't matter. He's is, as and always will be a factor in Roy's life - period !!

ASP(and DR now) brought back Chris because it would get people talking. It stirred things up. Don't give them the satisfaction. Even though nothing romantic will ever happen with L/C again, Chris's return will always be used to scare us. Because it works everytime. JMO

If this it the last 5 eps then we can only be scared a few more times.

Cappuccino I asked "Will Rory invite Luke to her graduation from Yale?" so he could have taken it wrong thinking I meant "Will Luke be there" maybe I should have been more clear?

Sorry not for me especially for what they did this year or what Amy tried to sell us. That was just pathetic and personal revenge. That woman - ok no I'm not going there again. I have my information on season six and why Amy did what Amy did and how some people reacted to it - we can't change anything about it so RIP.

ASP is someone who has great ideas and can get things started but she just SUCKS at finishing things especially if she doesn't get what she wants.

Chris is NOTHING ! I just wish the writers would finally appreciate it and see it BUT NO he is good for drama - RIGHT but I think or I hope that card is played once and for all.

I don't even think they pay much attention to the questions. How can they get that question wrong ? The same with mine a few weeks back about Rory and Logan. They just pick what they want to answer or can answer or what sounds interesting. They just twist and turn everything. Hello Journalism

If I remember correctly, she was still negotiating with the network when she was doing the season finale last year. She had no reason to think things wouldn't work out. And she wouldn't be back.

Sure she was playing with fire. But I still think it wasn't meant for revenge.

It was plain to me, just soapy drama she was going for. Angst.

Especially when there was at least a year to go. Make so that there was still potential in Luke and Lorelai.

But that is me.

Yeah sucks to watch. I blame DR as I have said before, for taking it to the lengths he did this season. ASP only set up a situation, which could have gone any way and he did it worse...and made things even more heart-breaking.

ASP didn't have them elope. She had Lorelai react out emotionally. Which seem a little realistic given how things were ending with Luke. And Chris was always unresolved feelings, business. She and Luke were developing something real. But it's hard when you've been best friends and you cross that line to lovers.

It takes a lot of adjustment. And when you have someone from your past who is always there...

But unfortunately for us, ASP left and we'll never know what she had planned. And maybe it would have been a easier year.

Sorry but I'm SOOOOO glad Amy is gone you have NO idea. She created a fantastic show and I'm glad she gave us GG - no doubt about that but she REALLY lost it in season 6. I don't know what it was (maybe something makes sense) but if you look at her history she has a tendency to screw shows up. Gilmore Girls was her thing, her baby and she just threw it away like it was nothing. Season 6 was a tough year and getting from there to fill another season was indeed a tough situation and she needed to come up with something but what she did at the end was personal revenge nothing more, nothing less. It was her personal F-word you all.
