I am not bothered by the possible chris/lorelai interaction. Chris is an Ant. Lorelai may not see him as a jerk but I think she's moved past him romantically. I just think the fandom will take awhile to mentally adjust.

Marie, I also have Scott Speedman version of those style of avis...yes i like to be hypnotized by actors named Scott!

Innocent as in "not romantic." And if you're worried about Luke, I'm pretty sure he's secure enough to not freak out if Lorelai gives Chris a friendly hug.

So true. Since my parents broke up due to another woman and it was bitter. My father later married the other woman. And my mother just got remarried last year after being together for over 11 years with the guy. In the beginning, things were very tense with my mother and my father and his new wife.

But it got to the point, where at my sister's university graduation. At the family reception afterwards. My mother and father's wife could be in the same room and were civil. But that was years down the line.

It got so funny that my mother hosted my grandmother's (my father's mother) 80th birthday party a few years ago. She always stayed close to my grandmother and aunt, even after the divorce. But it was odd to see my father, his wife in my mother's home.

Yeah family dynamics are alway interesting. When you add in special events. And given this is a television show. I am sure Rory's graduation will be very interesting given recent events LOL!

I like DR myself. I was royally sick of Amy by 6.16 or so!

And Rory. IMO It's just who he is.

But with the divorce things will not be the same with Lorelai and Like in WBB he might keep his distance, especially if L&L are dating again.

Thanks for the information Saranoh. One more blank filled in, many more still to go until the actual episode. What an interesting family ensemble Rory has supporting her on her special day. It took Rory and her accomplishments to bring this emotionally splintered group of people together in harmony.

I wonder if the guys will be crying this time. Last time it was Luke and Jackson. Maybe this time Luke and Christopher will do some tearful bonding.

A little OT, but this is so good!! I teared up a bit reading this one. Nothing smutty, no LL reconciliation (yet, I'm not sure if it's finished or not), but I loved it. Fills in missing scenes from the past two or so episodes.

I also wanted to say that if L/C hug, I personally don't think it's a big deal. They broke-up because they just weren't right for each other. Not because they didn't care about each other at all anymore. YMMV

Me too. That "good guy with a great heart" comment was more than I could stomach. I had had a gutful of S6 by then and that moment made me turn off. I didn't watch another episode in full until 7.09.

Why are we still talking about this...

Didn't we already know he was returning for graduation? Why is this a surprise? Frankly we all waste too much energy on chris just like lorelai has.
