Rory and Luke were both at the diner at the same time in 7.3. Rory comes in to order a muffin and notices that Luke changed his hat. If you mean Lorelai for the L that could be the Anna bag episode.

me too. i think i'm gonna throw a party when she goes back. best scenes happened in Luke's. even rory doesn't go there anymore.
